Spent a long day today sawing (circular saw), drilling, notching, etc. to pre-fab the stand. Was a lot of work, and my back feels it, but I got it done! Will leave with it tomorrow night, and it is supposed to rain tomorrow.

As I mentioned earlier, I had difficulty finding logs that were straight enough for the length I needed, so I did what they did back when, I used the curve to my advantage!

I hope to pack it all in the truck with the ATV, but if I can't I'll take the trailer. Hate taking it because it kills my gas mileage!
Looks good Mike.
Knowing my buddy just paid 650 for a chess 2 person stand made of light duty metal, sure brings the value of doing it yourself look more tempting.
How many people will be able to use it at a time.

Just for you Tex. We have a matching pair of these custom painted John Deere 4066's. Both were built in the states, both have common rail Yanmars, both have been rock solid reliable for almost 5,000 hours and 5 seasons.

Custom painted lol.
Assembled in the usa with foreign parts.
That's a lot of hrs in that amount of time, what are they used for.

👍Drinkin my :drinkingcoffee:and waiting for the fotos.

I tried, but I was scared of dropping my phone, you'll just have to take my word for it this time  .

I got three saw chains touched up last night, I can get some pics of that when the sun comes up. Sure seems to be taking it's sweet time, I got things to do...
Got a dentist appointment today, should be fun, maybe I can get a video lol.

Shuttling people from the dock to the parking lots. They used Harlan tugs before the tractors. Those were 100% made in the USA, and they were 100% junk.

Looking at the picture on the case, it seems as if it's only good on those fancy ES bars ;).

Speaking of deal, are these little welders any good. There's a couple spools of wire for each one, an extra gun for the Lincoln(unfortunately no tank), helmets, and more clamps than what's in the pictures too(some are under the welders and there appears to be a couple boxes of new ones also). Not sure if there's a cover for the side of the Lincoln, but I'm sure if they work I could make one :).
Any thoughts, I know there has to be some opinions lol.

The platform is 5' X 5'. I intend it to be for one or two people, but I'm sure more could fit.

Well, I can always sell them when I upgrade.
A buddy dropped all that junk off, and since I don't have anything maybe the Chinese tools will inspire me to upgrade a bit quicker lol.
My boy is real excited about them because he's been messing with some bikes with 2-stroke engines on them. He just got a fat tire bike that was backed onto for free from a guy from our church. Not sure whether his buddy will get it welded up first with his Chinese welder or we will lol. At least they are 220, better than a 120 Chinese welder.
Maybe you have a better one you'd sell me, oh wait, you're the guy who won't sell me a trailer :buttkick: .

I got the cash for the siding on the barn, after some insulation, doors, electrical..., then I'll be shopping for a new welder. But, I already bought a nice heavy 50' extension cord for it when I get it :).
