Cleaning up Ash on the woodlot today. There are more nice tracks at the scrape right across the street from my driveway. I dropped another dying Ash at noon. It was 21 inches at the cut. I'll be heading back over to finish bucking it up and moving it to the woodpile. This tree fell dead on in the spot where I wanted it to land.

I’ll be chasing them again tomorrow morning

Gonna hit my xbow spot behind my house. I’ve laid off that spot for a few weeks, maybe the 9pt I have on camera will show up. Even though it’s rifle season, it’s a little to “urban” for me to be using a rifle on a Sunday morning
You should see it around our house. There's at least 6 guys sitting in the section with rifles. There are 9 houses on the section. I think our neighbors from Chicago were shocked the first year of rifle season! Welcome to WI!

Unfortunately our home has been a bit of a revolving door for strays. Both cats and dogs. Most we will house until we find them a good home. We have kept one cat and now Luke. Kitty has been a huge factor in getting the chipmunk population under control.

We found this rottie earlier in the summer. We always post something up on social media to try and find the rightful owner. Havent found one yet and we have rescued a bunch. Rottie was a real sweet heart. Went to a nice young family just before we found Luke.

Good on you for doing that.:numberone: If we had a fenced-in yard we'd prolly have a dozen strays.

Add to the list with rubber mats, manual transfer case etc: manual transmission; a real steel key and no stupid "please miss computer, will you start the engine for me" button. Miss computer is on the rag too often.
My biggest pet peeve is proximity locking. People have it set up so when you walk away the car locks(it's now too hard to press a lock button on the fob). Guess what happens when I'm working on it? I walk away with the fob in my pocket and the dang thing locks. I forgot about it, try to open the door and almost rip the handle off.

Love the name, Luke!

I really think sometimes dogs find you. We weren’t looking for another dog. Went to the local pet food store to buy our old dog food and they had a rescue adoption event. From the second I held Gunner, I knew he was a good boy. This dog is amazing. From being able to find deer to protecting my girls to being my sidekick in almost everything. I wouldn’t trade him for $1,000

The pups were abandoned in Arkansas and shipped up to NY. Found out from a buddy of mine who has Plott hounds that he has the look, temperament and nose like one. His nose gets him into trouble sometimes, but also makes him a hero when we’re tracking deer
