I've been searching for some info on the adjustments that are on the simington 451. I can't seem to find much and was thinking you guys could help me out.
I'm wondering about the vertical adj. on the arm. What affect will it have on the tooth? Then the adj. in and out (the horizontal plane, if you will), not the tooth advance but the arm itself. Exactly where will this affect the tooth.
I've been grinding on a swing arm that is setup, this is the first grinder I've messed with. I've messed with them but I guess I'm missing exactly what they are changing on the tooth.
Also do you guys run the chain guide vertical or tilted forward. I've seen both.
Any info would be great
EDIT: I probably put this in the wrong spot. I put it on the chainsaw thread too.
