Has anyone on the forum had any experience using the Stihl 400 c-m?
My guy works at a dealer and brought it to a GTG.I had seen the model listed on the Stihl website, but was not familiar with them. According to the specs, the model sounds like it has very good power and the weight sounds good too. I didn't even know if they were available at dealerships yet.
I don't quite follow your comment, is this different from other chainsaws? Also, did you replace the felling spikes on your MS 400?I have one, it is a little stronger version "baby" big brother of the 362.
Pulls a 25" bar easier than the 362, but that is it's max. The 20" bar is the ideal bar and chain for this unit just like the 362
The huge downfall to it is the muffler exhaust port area is a very piss poor design on it, exhaust blows down on the chassis and clutch cover.
Yes I did modify and installed the Stihl skeleton spikes to put on my 400I don't quite follow your comment, is this different from other chainsaws? Also, did you replace the felling spikes on your MS 400?
