Might be the only available route.
The # I quoted has been superceded and that new number is NLA.
Do you think the Dolmar is worth fixing?
Is the Mcculloch worth fixing?

IMHO, they are both worth fixing.
Running properly, should give years of service.
...or should I be on the look out for other things to fix too?
I'd remove the mufflers and inspect the pistons for damage as a starting point if you haven't already done so.
BTW, welcome aboard. Noob rep shot headed your way.
Mark wouldn't do that to me. LOL Hes a NICE guy.
Now you........................Not so sure about that? :msp_sneaky:

What's not nice about free ####?!?
I acquired 2 saws from my wifes grandpa, a Dolmar and an Mcculloch. I think the Dolmar is a 116; I can't find the numbers or any labels. The Mcculloch is a pro-mac 610. Both have bad coils. I can find the coil for the 610 but not the Dolmar. The part #2204222 for the dolmar coil if anyone can help.
I mainly want to know if the Mcculloch is worth fixing, same with the Dolmar, or if anyone has a coil that would work for the dolmar.
Both saws have a 20" bar.
Still looking for the elusive Echo cs670 complete white clutch cover...please pm if you can help me out
I have an SP125C with a brand new 36" roller-tip bar. The saw is a runner. Some new paint and it would be worthy of display on your desk.
I have boxes of Shindaiwa parts for 550,575,680,695 saws - enough stuff to build a few running saws.
Anyhow, I am downsizing the fleet and looking to get cash to spend on other projects, or some other saws. Would like a 7900 Dolmar, 390 Husky, or 066/660 or 088/880 Stihl. PM me with what you have.
Its not free when I have pay to get rid of it !
The last one is stihl in its box,not sure where its going just yet? No one P-ed me off lately.
There you go, I'm not going to pay to get rid of it either, I was only giving stuff away to hopefully someone who wants that stuff. If I have to take my time to box it up, ship it etc and only get reimbursed for shipping, I could also just put them in the trash that I'm already paying for to get picked up.
Bump. Still have the Mac. Lots of interest but no takers.
Any room for them on the trip to Iowa?
I was given a McCulloch PM 610 that didn't have spark. I cleaned the corrosion off of the magnets on the flywheel and coil. I also cleaned and tightened the connections at the coil and where the coil is screwed to the power head. It has a nice blue spark now and runs good. My saw had sat for a long time because the previous owner was told that it wasn't worth fixing. Another thing to check on the Mac is the coil and ignition wire. They are long and there places where they can chafe and short out.
Both saws are worth fixing especially the Dolmar.
