yikes, I just sold a mint Poulan 655 with a 28" bar and chain for that amount.

Hmm, not sure. Kinda partial to the orange. Is the 2163 the same basic saw as a 2171?

Muffler, cylinder, piston, crank, bearings, and complete intake system, carb, air filter are the same. The rest is different other than the bar mount. Uses Husky small mount.
