Any chance that one would have the reeds I need finish mine?

Brad- I checked mine out, they're in bad shape. This Wright saw carcass sat out in the weather for over 30 years. The cage is heavily corroded and the reeds are heavily rusted. I think they're pretty much junk. However, I have two sheets of Nytel bulk reed material that I bought from Boyesen so it's highly likely that I can make you some reeds when I get back from this next work trip.

Hey Brad,

How about taking some standard-fare 2-stroke bike reeds, and cutting them to size, hack-saw, coping saw, etc...

shouldn't be a big deal, or take a long time...IF you've been searching high, and low

That would probably work as well.

I believe Boysen (sp?) will still custom make reeds without breaking the bank.

Had some made for an old Bultaco I believe years ago.

Boyesen will make any custom reed you want and it's not too expensive. As mentioned above, I have some sheets of the bulk Nytel reed material that I bought years ago from a Boyesen sales rep. I even used some to make my own two-stage reeds for a Mac once that ended up working out well.

NICE! different thickness on the sizes, JJ, or just a smaller single stage for the mid-range boost, and a larger reed for the higher RPM port/cyl filling?

nice

Rep for that... oh, wait...NEVERMIND

I have enough stuff to build a nice 041AV minus a good cylinder. Is there someone that has a good used cylinder for trade. Or maybe someone has some good mcculloch stuff that they might want to trade me for the 041AV stuff.

PM sent, I have a new one.

If that does not work out, I have the 041 jug OR some yellow trade fodder. Your choice.

Well, anybody have a piston and rings for a SXL.

Couple parts to trade or a little americano currency, and monopoly money

I think I might have it. Ill look later today...Do you need the cylinder too?

Anyone have the Hi-flow air filter kit for a Jonsered 670? OR a handle bar mount for a Hommie 925?

Have stihl 056, hommie 1020,xl,sxl,husky 350 and 336 parts to trade plus some mac 605,610 parts

looking for a 32-36" bar for mac 125. i would prefer 3/8" 0.50 .

You going to run that thing one-handed?

If anyone does not know, Neal had surgery on his shoulder yesterday. He should be on some good pain meds. I think his posts will probably make alot more sense.

You might think about some other older saws. This may put a saw in your price range that will indeed pull a long bar. Just a thought.

The larger Stihl and Huskys are both pricey. I've bought some saws in the upper 80cc range that just needed a good cleaning and the fuel system gone over for less than 50.00.

What Homie 1020 parts do you have that you'd part with? I need an XP1020 or XP1020A model/sn tag (or a flywheel cover with the tag still attached) for starters. What XL12/SXL parts do you have? I could use a good muffler or two among other things. I don't have any of the parts you need however....

You might want to start pounding the pavement- hit all the pawn shops and second hand stores that have tools. Check out Craigslist and yard sales. Most of my carcasses I've gotten locally.
