Any chance that one would have the reeds I need finish mine?
Brad- I checked mine out, they're in bad shape. This Wright saw carcass sat out in the weather for over 30 years. The cage is heavily corroded and the reeds are heavily rusted. I think they're pretty much junk. However, I have two sheets of Nytel bulk reed material that I bought from Boyesen so it's highly likely that I can make you some reeds when I get back from this next work trip.
Hey Brad,
How about taking some standard-fare 2-stroke bike reeds, and cutting them to size, hack-saw, coping saw, etc...
shouldn't be a big deal, or take a long time...IF you've been searching high, and low
J
That would probably work as well.
I believe Boysen (sp?) will still custom make reeds without breaking the bank.
Had some made for an old Bultaco I believe years ago.
Boyesen will make any custom reed you want and it's not too expensive. As mentioned above, I have some sheets of the bulk Nytel reed material that I bought years ago from a Boyesen sales rep. I even used some to make my own two-stage reeds for a Mac once that ended up working out well.
