does anyone have a clutch cover/chain brake for my 288xp,, i have a complete husqvarna 50 black top to trade that needs a piston + i have cash

I need two 036/034 pto case halves, or two cases. The pto side bearing sleeves are loose in both of the ones I have here. I would also be interested in a 036/036 Pro and would be willing to trade port work, cash , or parts.

I have a pair of matched case halves. I have a guy possibly wanting them, but if he doesnt take them then I would trade possibly.

Is Wiggs' build off using up all the 066/660 parts saws? :msp_rolleyes: I'll ask anyways I'd like a 066 flat top runner or box(s) of parts. I have some trading saws or some folding trading material.

All these 288XP parts flying around. :D

I'm looking for a very nice, clean set of 288 cases.

I saw a 181 case/crank floating on eBay. I'm sure it will go cheap since most don't realize that everything bolts up fine except for the throttle linkage hole need to be enlarged.

Easiest way to deal with it is to use the 181 linkage setup if you can get all the parts easily. It's a wire link between the arm and the carb so the arm, link, and the carb throttle shaft are different but everything else is the same. Including the carb, you can just sawp the shafts.

I've done it both ways and I prefer the wire link style arm since the other roller contact (281, 288) style have issues with not getting to full throttle because the arm bends over time. That's why you usually see a bit of rubber hose over them so they can get to full throttle.
