Just sent 5 out yesterday. Still have about 2-3........dozen left. Just picked up this 268, needed a piston and some odd parts. Got it all broke down and cleaned, ready to go back together, just waiting on the piston.

It got a cleaning, cylinder clean up with acid, carb cleaning, fuel lines. I have a NOS Sandvik/Windsor replaceable speed tip to throw on it. Should be a runner in no time.


Got a 440 that needs a piston here and general TLC also. Im up to my ears in 4cube Stihls and Huskies right now.

Any luck on the Poo-LAN double ripper?

How's the little one like the speakers?

WT-220? Never seen one of those. Lemme do some digging. If it will work, Im interested. Just needs to work for a muffler modded 026 Pro.

Stihl 028 Super Wood Boss

I have a nice Stihl 028 AVS WB that I'd like to trade for a Partner 5000+ or maybe 500 or Jonsered 490/590. I really just might sell this saw but thought I'd try this first.
Saw has brand new OEM Stihl 46mm piston and rings, (have pics and box)
Saw was not scored but had a knock too it and found it had a FROM THE FACTORY 45.23mm piston in it???? Too small for a 46mm. and rings had .080 gap???missed quality control I guess. Im the second owner, PO said it never had power and dealer never fixed it right when new.
Anyway its complete no cracks, couple holes in bar cover and has older style WB muffler. Not a FRANKENSAW!

"Bad part" it runs but has intermitant idle and stuff, won't adjust so I'm sure it needs seals, Fuel line, pulse tube good. all the extra heat and pressure from bad rings and piston. I've had this saw apart three times trying to find the issues (most was the weird piston)

I'm into it too much now, It ticked me off!! Pictures avail. Pm me if interested

I'm hoping something shows up. This saw is in near perfect condition. Jon's uncle gave it to him for downing a tree. He bought it new when he was 19 years old, it started up and ran perfect after sitting over 20 years.
