i need a carb for a MS250 that one i got is worn out or something i can't get it to tune in for crap.or maybe i'll try a carb kit first and see what happens. got mold green paper to trade and a few poulan and craftsman parts to trade .

You may want to try a vac test on it?Could be a small air leak?

well i think i have a bad seal as it is too.becuase i can lay it on the recoil side and the motor will race up.i would try a vac test but i don't have way of doing that yet.

Seals are cheap.If it was me I would just tear it down and replace them and reseal the whole thing.If its leaking it will cause you a lot more problems and money to fix.Carb may not need rebuilt?

I'm an the hunt for a few parts to finish Alex's (bigblockburris) 064. I need a HD filter cover. The plate that goes under the carb, and a non intellicarb metering cover for the Walbro carby.

yeah i kinda figured it was the seals so i went a head and tore it all the way down.and cleaned it up and tomarrow i'll go to my local stihl dealer and pick a set up.

can some one tell what this carb came off of its a zama one of them china junk carbs.but i am woundering what it came off of because it don't look nothing like the MS250 carb made by zama.

Anyone Need a Full Wrap for a 394-395? Not the prettiest, Slightly Bent, but will mount up and be functional on a saw.

Looking for just about anything 288/281 related, or 365/371/372 or 2165/2171 related.

I also have a Complete 350 that has the common air leak, and I just dont need that small of a saw anymore.

You can stop the China bashing any time. Zama makes lots of very good carbs, and the company if owned by Stihl. The carb in question is for a MS250 I believe.

i have an 045 parts/repair saw, runs but needs new crank bearings, coil was replaced before bearings went along with the crank seal. the bottom tab for the felling dog was broken off, saw still pulls 155psi.

as i already have a running 045 i have no interest in repairing another and dont need a parts saw sitting around since i will just want to fix it, i'm looking to trade for a complete 028/036 or similar powerhead that needs work. i also have an 031 oil line, oil pump, clutch assembly however two pads are bad, and a nos 031/045/056 oil pump for trade along with some cash

Still looking for a brake/clutch cover for a 1997 Husq 272 (with the plastic brake handle)
for trade I have a 272 flywheel (the one with the molded key ) a hus Brake/clutch cover with a steel handle that fits the 272 (but blocks the compression release. ) Also for trade I have A stock Sthil 044 (12mm) cylinder and piston and some other parts (try me) or cash.
