Lakeside is truly one of a kind. It amazes me how generous he is with his time and knowledge around saw people. I only hope I am fortunate enough to get to meet him someday along with a few others on this site and they know who they are.( also includes Manual and :newbie: )

Lakeside is the best and has helped me immensely in the past. I believe I might have reached the pesky point once or twice and he never said a thing and kept providing help. Not to many like him!
Sincerely,
Jay

That Andy fella looks like a nice pal to have :rockn:

Hmmmm, maybe I could have him look after my Husky 42 with a carb problem that is driving me crazy

Let's see, 12 hours flight at least, hotel, rental car and return... Naaah, I just may buy a new one instead :monkey: :hmm3grin2orange:

That's some awsome looking bread Gary, can almost smell it through the ethernet. Andy is da man he deserves it for all the assistance he provides here. I'll bet that bread would be nice to keep a little in my pack for extended searches or backcountry patrols. Probably sustain me for days..........:biggrinbounce2:

Andy, Glad to here you like the bread. You'r post tickled my wife
(In a proud cook kind of way)

I just have to brag on my wife a bit here
The only time we eat out is if we are out of town. We eat almost
zero prepared frozen and about the only thing that comes out of
a can is vegetables and not a lot of that. She puts out a garden
every year, she cans our own vegetables, makes pickles has a strawberry,
blackberry and raspberry patches. Barb also sows not (just patches)
but makes clothes from scratch, as she does pies, cookies, cakes and
Bread! She does have a dish washer, but does not us it (stores canning
jars in it) she also is some what of a good artist (oil painting as I write this)
Just a few more, flower gardens, mows the yard (very big yard)
can change the tire or the oil on a car............ I know this was way OT.
Do you think I'm a little proud of the wife..............yes I am!

Hang on to her... Apart from the dishwasher part, I could have used your exact story to decribe my wife... Also proud...

Mine too, sorta...... She's got the cookin' and artist thing down pat. Will even help with labor 'round the yard and woodlot, but anything to do with power equipment(except occaisionally the lever on woodsplitter) she wouldn't touch with the perverbial ten-foot pole. Changing tires? He11 no, but she's awefully good at picking up errant screws and nails off the public roads for the public, unfortunately with her tires. Two this week alone.:bang: :bang: I'm PROUD too, really. :blob2: :blob2: Just wish I could get her to run a saw or the tractor, sure would speed up my firewood production.
