+1 !!

My wife served at MCAGCC for just under three years...yeah, it does tend to get kinda warm out there...

.

I nominate LTCG for understatement of the year award!:D

The only time I spent out there was a 2 week CAX (combined arms exercise) and that was enough for me. We did most of our training in the morning, evening and night and literally dug ourselves a hole to hide in during the day.

1st, ABW I, mean nothing personal by this post, because you'e going to a great deal of /time/effort to make this event happen.could it be possible for a 30-36" log for bucking? ......

20"-36" is about all I have right now. I have a few small logs but I might head out to the farm tomorrow to cut some 12"+- logs for the smaller saws.

I just got in from setting logs up. I'll take a picture of the event field when there's daylight. It's looking good!

Can't wait! :blob2: :blob4: :blob2:

As you can see I've done a little log testing. They work.:D

I've been using .325 on my 44" bar and 3/8" on the longer ones. I haven't used LP yet because anything under 30" goes on the bandmill.

It's all that practice from the old bonfire days.

Yep. I miss those "old army" days (Aggie lingo).

I got the barbecue (brisket, sausage and chicken) ordered today and it includes sides and condiments. RAYINTOMBALL offered to bring potato salad so I got baked beans, rice, coleslaw, bread, pickles, onions, jalapeños, etc. I'll also have iced tea and water available all day.

Several people have offered to bring something so I'll just list some items here so they can be claimed.

Chips

Dip

Soft drinks

Deserts

Finger foods/ snacks

See ya'll soon!
