Well, this coming weekend is full of racing again, saturday is Crows Nest Qld, and on sunday is Boonah Qld and the qld state open post rip title.

Been pointed out I forgot a few results

2nd Lindsay Ackers and Jason Ackers
3rd Bill Rumbel and Neil Onley

Jack and Jill Post Rip
1st Bill and Jan Rumbel
2nd Wayne and Teresa Donovan
3rd Nigel and Melinda Newitt

State of Origin Team Post Rip

 QUEENSLAND

the state of Origin Team Post Rip, is that like the footy, i mean guys originaly from 1 state racing against guys from another state.
2 names in that teams post rip Bill Rumbell and Neil Only i have heard their names called and seen both here in sydney do they live in QLD and travel all the way down here, both are big men but 1 is huge.

what is the most popular saw in qld, i have seen mostly big huskvarners here maybe 1 or 2 big stihls. i have read in another forum 090 stihls still race but i havn't seen them.

That Neil Onley bloke, legend in his own lunchtime, just ask ausneil 1, they have history

Neil is from the mid north coast, NSW and AFAIK all the Rumbels hail from around Dungog way ?

Cool new site! I asked my dealer a few days ago and he knew nothing about it. Hopefully we get it soon.

Not unusual for Stihl dealers to have absolutely no idea on what Stihl Australia is doing. I've tended to know more about Stihl's new saws etc than Stihl dealers have...
Ben (Benn*e? on AS) here is pretty switched on though but he actually likes chainsaws. Most Stihl dealers class it as a job more than a passion like we do.

So so true in went to order some 090 parts and he asked how long ago that was made and if it was actually a Stihl ................ duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

McBob.

Sad part is that he probably wasn't even 16 years old with pimples. Even older Stihl dealers ask silly questions like that sometimes.

Thank you sir for answering my question. By ausneil 1s coment on being a jack of all trades i wonder if thats being a little modest.
Watching chainsaw racing is interesting and i have seen guys talking to the crowd and answer questions if they are near the barrier fence.
Is the competition fearce and agressive toward each other or are they just mates racing each other for the hell of it.

They hate each other with a passion. Apparently they make death threats against each other's families and have chainsaw swordfights in the car parks after the events :)
Nah all very civilised by all accounts and good sports. They don't mind sharing information either which is rare although I'm sure they keep a few things close to their chests...
