Stop hoarding all the big muscle saws lol. But yes that piston does look good for an oh-niner. Look forward to seeing it cut something! :cold:
I'd like to have it finished by August 30 Rudy, there is an event around then that I'd be keen to run it at.
Once it's done, I'll post a video of it in action..... Unlike some other oh-niners , that have failed 2 fire ;)
I guess I'll be hunting down 090 parts now, nearly as fiercely as some other dribblers hunt the 2100's lol

Sweet. Apparently old mate with the the non starting saws got his hard to find parts on German ebay. Might be worth a look if you can't find it elsewhere.

As long as Bunning is selling chainsaws for not much more than what Stihl retailers charge for a Stihl chain saw file, well, I don't think we will ever see the day where a Stihl chainsaw is sold by any discount chain including the internet, which Stihl does everything it can to shut down sales on that....especially if they are coming to this country.

Ozito 25.4cc top handled arborists saw with Oregon bar $69.00 inc. file and screwdriver

Stihl Chainsaw carry case $85.50*
Stihl filing kit $43.00*
Stihl 2 in 1 file holder $74.50*
Stihl PRO Marking Crayon $20.50* (WTF?) and get this, case for crayon $16.25* I'm rolling on the floor in laughter right now
Stihl multifunction tool $63.50

You've got to laugh

i was googling ozito chainsaw videos on you tube and that came up... rained out to do vids here today.

but i gotta say.. for $69 its a pretty good saw!! adjustable oil delivery. starts easy. runs ok straight out of the box. i was pleasantly surprised.shes a goer. only time will tell how long it actually lasts.

Yep and we sell all those in numbers except the marking crayons. The viewers of AS make up a very small percentage compared to the rest of the population who aren't tight arses who complain about price then want 5 star service in return.

Ben, I am going to pick up my saw today from where I purchased it. It's had 5lts of fuel through it and I look after it with kitt gloves.. It was dropped off for them to have a look at. Well, after 2 weeks they managed to look at it and raised an invoice for it......50+bucks for blowing air through the air filter and a smear of grease....lets see if I manage not to raise my voice a little over this and thank them for the awesome service you speak of.

I think some dealers on both side of the fence take customers as mugs and over charge. And given the current economic environment I'm sure there will be more and more of it as sales drop off.

Advice on stihl 044 needed. Trying to tune my mates saw, won't return to idle quickly unless the low speed needle is 3and a half turns out.... Soo guessing it will be a vac leak! We're do these 044"s usually stuff up please don't tell me crank seals

How much work has it done?.. Blown all the crap off the carb, air filter clean, carb bolts tight, carb shafts worn?......

Was taken to a mob who changed the carby 6 months back. But they've obviously just backed out the L to get it running. So now it's on my bench, yeah cleaned all the carby area
