It is a bit of mucking around.

- Large tub (200lt minimum)
- Film
- Scuff stuff
- Automotive paint's, thinners, hardner etc
- Proper Spray gun
- Activator
- Clear coat
- Heat element (for correct water temp)

And its the same amount of prep as you would do painting a car panel, but smaller obviously.

Having said that, i wouldn't mind knocking a few out for people.

They really look great Snowy and I'd happily send you whatever bits off the saw you want to have a go at.....

Can you do the scabbard also?

How's it work Snowy? I'm guessing it must be a whole new process for each color?

Ok, say your doing the air filter cover, it needs to be painted, so first step is to scuff back the original item using a scuff compound and scotch pad.
Then plastic primer is applied and allowed to "tac off". Depending on the film you are using and the affect your after you need to select a base coat.
I chose an orange I matched to the factory colour and applied. You have a dipping tub filled with water an optimal temp is 33 degrease, I use a heat element to achieve this. So you cut your film, which is where the image comes from and lay a sheet in the tub and let it sit for 90 sec. The the "activator" is sprayed over the film and it actually dissolves the film, respirator is a must. The you slowly push the item through the film. Its hard to get the film in all the corners and over fins and that, but you get the hang of it. Then clear coat and sit for 12-24 hours.

Its a process

Send him the OZITO chippy, a good camo' job should ensure its loss and demise from these pages.................

That saw does alright for a first tank in that red box or whatever it is....looks hard and gnarly.

Was a shame not to see that guy at least wearing eye protection. The amount of times I've had stuff fly at me and smash me in the face/glasses I couldn't count....but it's really contributed to my sex appeal......

Bloody hell Vince, he'll have one of those next and we'll never hear the end it.........

It was getting through that log OK, probably holds the world endurance record now for the longest continuous run time known for that
model.

(Re PPE chippy, mostly it's just not worth the effort to put it on, they never run long enough)

What people just don't get is you can buy 15 of those saws to the one equivalent Stihl, you get 15 chains and 15 bars and there's little likely hood of the Stihl outlasting that saw 15 fold....

And you have as much chance accidentally leave the saw behind in the bush, running it over with your vehicle, dropping a tree on it, giving the bar the pinch of death as you do with a high quality item, but care factor could be measured in zeros

i bought a stihl chain for it.. nearly cost as much as the whole saw !! that was the Chinese chain cutting there. i resharpened it first cause the angles were all over the place and different length cutters and raker depths.

Did you get it from the denyon of quality chainsaws and knowledgeable staff, Bunnings?

Popped the limiter on the H screw.....full tank of gas, everything ship shape, checked H screw 1 1/2 turns off the stop, warmed it up, opened it right up, 2 more full turns out still no drop in revs, missus starts screaming at me she's trying to sleep (she's crook)........bugger.

The Oz Racing saw is easier to tune than this!

Chinese bloke just sent me an email, wants world rights to Vinces vid. (never seen done before - actually cut wood) and chippys sans
verbose descriptions of how good they are, contract pay big time - all rice you can eat and two story trailer to carry 15 chainsaw on
wooding expidition...................jeez, if I wasn't so busy I'd try an cut 'em out for that......lol

Now we've seen pics of the roo shooters with the ute tray circled with hanging roos, just think of that and someones trailer circled with OZITOS hanging proudly, but like the roos fkd...lol.

And the word yr searching for chippy san is "denizen" .... !
