yes now that does look nice, and the lights, i had them bloody great they are

I've got a spot and a driving light of the IPF HID's.

If they can be had for a reasonable price I'd go with them again, awesome lights. 55 watts and comparable to your standard halogens at well over 100 watts.
 
A mark like that in Red Box is common, called various names but "shake" or "water mark" are two I've heard. Can make some R/Box timber unsuitable to mill
as there is no proper attachment between the layers.

I haven't seen it much myself but I try and avoid too much gnarly red box cause it can be a pain to split.
 
I've got a hollow piece round 12" dia, the shell is only 2" wide. I reckon I've hit it 20 times over the last 4 months as it won't fit in the wood heater.

Must remember to rip it next time I look at it.......mongrel stuff.lol

That one with the watermark in it took about 20 hits with the maul to get it to split. The next 5 pieces that all looked just as twisted and gnarly split 1st or second hit.....just can't tell with this stuff..

Burns well though and matches my pink curtains and my goats mockies.
