Yep the new gear is pretty forgiving but funny thing is that I was on a 9 handicap with an old 330cc Srixon XXIO driver and am still on a 9 handicap with a newer Nike 470cc square headed SUMO driver. I also went from an old set of Cobra cast irons to a set of Mizuno MP30 forged irons and they didn't drop my handicap either so I switched from Rifle 6.0 shafts to Project X 5.5 shafts - no change. I then went from a Wilson fat shaft putter to a 2 ball Odyssey and that didn't change my handicap. Now I have $3500 worth of gear and I'm not actually playing any better than I was with $500 bucks worth!

You heartless, heartless, bastard...

I hope you get really bad forearm pump, get itchy nuts, and your arms are unable to scratch them :)

Matt, my bike is well prepared with even a scratcher for all things itchy. I'll get a video if you like?

Stay safe Al and watch out for those gypsies!

Thanks Rudi .....and the goats, sheep, emu's, coons, I mean cones etc.

Yeah well things have gone way too quiet work wise, so I may be making some room in the shed and working on some saws that are sitting around here!

Jumping on the bike tomorrow heading north/west to arrive in Broken Hill/Silverton on Saturday.

The things ya gotta do! :msp_rolleyes:

The reason I made the comment cause others were working! :msp_razz:

I'll keep ya's posted!

Good on you Al, sounds like a most excellent plan !

After my little break six weeks ago I'm off for a week again in a couple of weeks.

Plan to do a little yoga, a little surfing and hang out with the hippy's again up around Byron.
It'll probably be the last time I get to stay at the S/BIL's place too, things aren't so good on the land these days growing macadamias and citrus :msp_sad:

Hopefully I'll have time to pop in and say G'day to Uncle Neil on the way past too.

Sounds like a plan, rick.
I've got this big 090 saw here, its way too heavy and hard to start, maybe you can get it going for me and give it a run. :msp_sneaky:

Please do Al and do your wheel nuts up too. Don't want those cones walking off with your treads.

Ditto on the citrus. Apart from easy peel Mandarins such as Imperials or Afourers the whole industry is a basket case.

All I can say is that lucky it isn't a big ol Mc, none of us would stand a chance.......... :monkey:

The 090 is one easy saw to start if anything better than an 660 to start no need to talk it up ,they are one easy saw to start:msp_confused:.. But i will say if you try and are little shy and only do a half ass pull it will pull your fingers off! hahaha.... Even my 2 stroke mower's are 160cc (Victa) and pull start?

Yeah the decomp on an 090 is pretty effective.

Sit back rogue60 and enjoy the thread, the penny will drop soon enough.
