On a side note can you still get parts for the 490's? May be something to consider if I ever see one around. Then I'll have to get my life insurance up to scratch :)
can get anything if you look hard enough, have a wallet full of cash, know a few of the right people, and keep your eyes open... just like anything really if you want it you'll find it. It helps when your got ties within the MC but ;)

Hmmm. I have pretty good pillow biter sensors and Abbott hasn't set them off unlike my carpet munching sensors from Gillard :)
Budgie smugglers certainly aren't a good look though. On anyone.
Have you made that bloody bikesaw yet? You've had all day dammit.

Yeah, i can guess how you have pillow biting sensors. peerhaps Abbot isnt in your line of sight ???
possibly a change of carpet for ya.

I'm sure a few have slipped past my radar over the years but I highly doubt Abbott is one of them. If he was the Labour party would have had that out in the media the second he became opposition leader.
Bob Brown certainly blew the sensors up though :D

bring back kevin 07 I say, long as them liberal idiots ain't in office Its win win in my book. no bike saws in the near future, just work saws but have a Yamaya IT 490 (2 stroke) at the uncles in the gong, with a spare motor.

I dont mean any harm but it surprises me when people say to bring back Kevin 07.
He is the twit that thoughjt he could change Australia in 1 term.
He changed the legislation that allows sooo many BOAT PEOPLE into this country, not Gillard who, yes stabbed him in the back, but was left with the changes and it, was Kevin who oversaw that idea plus people dying from the roof insulation scheem etc not to mention other scheems they come up with that I cannot think of at the moment.
So no I do not think Kev is the answer either.
ps, i also hate Abbot and Gillard.
Who am i left with, mabey you Widowmaker 1
Go for politics, you do voluntary fire fighting as well as wingnut. Just remember to be positive about it.
just dont kill ya self on that bike.
cheers big ears wayne

Had the pleasure of seeing, hearing this thing at WOT....... would scare the sh@t out of ya cow's:smile2:

scarring cows and impressing folks was what that bike with 2 cylinders of a Rolls Royce Merlin engine was good for.
that bike was at a drag race meeting as a demonstration.
It was slowish over the quarter mile and it did not show up at drag strips much after that.

I had a bike with one fifth the cc and it was a full two Christmas trees faster (four seconds)

Bob Brown would blow most mens sensors sky high:msp_mellow:
Though i give him that , at least he is educated compared to most of the clowns. I dont always agree with the Green as I have stated before but sometimes , they are justified.
Kinda like the Sea Shepard.
F##k Japan

I'm certainly not against the Sea Shepherd's ideals but they are a serious bunch of nutjobs. I saw a documentary once on it's captain in his younger days and even Greenpeace kicked him out - he is a Class A drama queen dipsh*t. I hate seeing whales harpooned as it can't really be done humanely but one thing I'd really like to see is these Jap whaling boats harpoon Paul Watson's fat arse.
What would be really funny is if the world stopped whaling immediately as the d*ckheads on the Sea Shepherd wouldn't know what to do with themselves. They'd probably start hassling the Tuna fisherman at Port Lincoln and heckling the little kids down the jetty trying to catch a squid with their dad :D

I never forget the time I went to my mates place for a Sunday barbecue.
My son was only abour 2 1/2 years old from memory
My mate Rob owned the largest Hydraulic company in the NT
Anyway we get to his place at Marlows Lagoon, app 1 acre and he comes at me yelling, this guy over the back fence has a jet engine in a motor bike .
Well we jump the back fence with our beers and sure enough he has a Roulett jet enging onto a 650 Yamaha sub frame which is chained to an old studebaker truck to stop it going through the shed.
He used a Suzuki 3 cly motor to start it. It ran at 14000 rpm from memory
Was quite funny as him as his wife had to yell at each other when starting it.
He said it was 4000 hp and with afterburners was up to 5500 hp
I said , who was game to take ot down the drags
Mick also has 2 x 454 cubic inch drag bikes
I think from memory his website was madv8 .com
He used the jet bike for the aftermarket show at the V8 touring circuit in Darwin a few years ago
It still makes me laugh as my boy LOVED planes and when he heard the sound of the jet, you could not get him away from the back femce.
We gave Alex his icypole and he would not leave the back fence and kept telling my wife THE PLANE and looking upwards as he thought there was a plane
Anyway if anyone ever sees Mick, ask him about his neighbour Rob Bonney in Marlows lagoon. That will confirm what I have said.
Cheers Wayne

Mate, you are going from one scenairo to another. Whaling to tuna is a different circle.
Yes I agree, some are twits , but hey , who will stick up for the whales in defence of scientific research
I at least give them that as there is no jutified means for their scientific reasearch
When we have been drilling off Karatha on the west Aust coast, man HOW many whales we would see.
I thought we would see a few of the southern Vic coast but nothing like of the west coast.

When you see these creatures up close, some come under the oil rig, you truley appreciate how wonderful they are, and not some SCIENTIFIC REASERCH crap, ( seafood chowder ) as Japan would have you believe.
I have seen hundreds of whales over the years working offshore and i will challenge anyone to not agree with me when you see them that they are truley special and magical.
My thoughts

I think you've misunderstood me. I'm dead against whaling too and have also seen whales up close - they are awesome creatures. I have spent literally weeks around Victor Harbor over the years in SA watching them. My reference to Tuna and squid was that these peanuts will always have some sort of crusade to whinge about. Do a bit of homework on Paul Watson and you'll know what I mean. He is one of those "cute and cuddly" crusaders who couldn't give a toss about other endangered species, only those he thinks are "beautiful" and "majestic".
The reasons for the Japs hunting them is utter BS and I am most certainly against it however there are ways to go about stopping this and knobheads in boats throwing rotten butter and human urine onto the whaling boat's deck really isn't the sort of thing that turns the majority on. In fact the guys who boarded the Jap whaling boat illegally should have been shot as pirates. If you look at public polls over the years the support for the Sea Shepherd due to these grubby primary school style tactics has dropped significantly.
For example my mum and dad love whales even more than me and they quite regularly drive the 3 hours to Victor Harbor to watch the whales when the TV/radio says they are around. After seeing the crap the Sea Shepherd crew pulled in their last few outings my parents now have less support for the Sea Shepherd than they do for the Japs.
All they have to do is observe and report, getting as much video footage as they can. Widely publicising these videos will end up having the desired effect even though it will be a slow process. The only video footage you see on the news however is the Sea Shepherd crew carrying on like idiots.
