We have seriouse competition each and every time we step into the ring, as it should be, anything less would be a waste of time.

Just because a saw comes up on ebay or old mcbob starts another pointless thread on a saw, does not mean the actual race fraternity sh#ts them selves and runs for cover chewing their finger nails in fear of what you are going to come up with next.

The saws are build by a shady character in the US and there have been quite a few treads about him. But at least he has cleaned up his port work a bit, the cylinders used to look like someone had attacked them with a horse rasp. So lets just say buyer beware...

I don't know Joe, but he has been selling (or trying to) new husky for the past 6 months or so. I guess he bought into that builders BS and now imports them too. But looks like he might do drop shipping from the US with those kinds of shipping prices.

I inquired about the super heavy duty port job on the 395 and here is a snippet of the reply i got from Shirl

"The saws mods available are woodsport and all out competetion. We have a specialist 2 stroke machinist and technician working for us. He has been doing chainsaws and 2 stroke motorcycles competively for over 30 years.
The saws are bench tested for 5 or more litres of fuel after mods. Prices reflect the mods you request"

Yeah it is built in NZ and is mainly used for tuning the saw under load. Mainly for shops who don't access to wood I assume.

Well my favourite pastime is exactly the same thing you try so desparetly hard to make honest members (who don't know you in person),across many forums believe you are part of.
I just happen to know the facts, so do many others.

There is only 1 person cabable of giving me the stutters and shakes,,,,, she has my check book.

Hi Guys, Just a quick question
When I take my saw back to the stihl shop to get retuned
Do they use a dyno or how should it be done
They detuned it because it was new but now its had about 12 tanks put through it, so I gather its due to get retuned
Your thoughts on this would be good

Well most shops will tune it by ear and some will use a tach to back up their setting

I have seen peoples post about bars and chains, but some thing is
If a bar is 0.50 how can it take a 0.63 chain
Im talking about my saw ms362 ,20'' bar
Ive been looking at bars for the stihl and there showing .050-.063
Could some one explain this please
