Caster based oil for alcohol based fuel that's the one. I would expect its similar to the old shell m that has now become the advanced shell m with synthetic oil

Just a quick one gents but as per earlier posts a few local farmers have asked me to come and whack emus and roos under permit. The crops are off now but these properties also have feral goats :)
Whacked a pretty solid bodied Billy 12 days ago with the .25/06 (black with shorter horns) and then whacked a hairier, stinkier Billy tonight after work with the .25/06 again. Both went down like they'd been hit in the head by Thor's hammer. The one I dropped tonight actually walked behind a decent sized bush and after catching a glimpse of white I let rip through the bush. I heard the thump and was actually quite surprised the projectile held together to reach him. The one good thing with the Ballistic Tips (I hit him with a 100 grainer) is that they have a solid base so do actually penetrate quite well even if the nose blows apart.
Nothing fancy but both goats were on the move and only 60-80m away. I also knocked over a nanny and 3 kids (goat kids, not real kids!) last week too.
Tracy and Zoe came out as well and Tracy wore some new Stihl earmuffs (Thanks Benny!) while holding her hands over Zoe's ears when I shot (I also got stuck into a heap of emus as well so she heard a fair few shots). Good thing was is that Zoe didn't mind the gunshots and had a wow of a time! Must be good genetics as Tracy likes shooting too.

WOW Zoe has grown a heap matt and yep get'em out young .

yep run it in my go kart and the old kart fuel goes in the snipper, mower and blower. i wont put it in a saw just because the fumes are pretty strong and will give a nasty headache.

My brother decided to run castor in his Stihl 192T I gave him. Smelled lovely but gummed everything up. If I remember correctly castor doesn't burn up through the engine hence the oily film left over everything. Anybody who has run model planes will know where I'm coming from.

Morning good members,,,, can't bloody see who is online...
I will leave the oil debate alone I think...
Matt, the little one sure is heading in one direction alright,,,, up, and uni will happen soon enough.
My eldest is still shooting up and, up to a size 12 soccer boot and doesn't he love commenting on my little work boots that don't fit him, oh and of coarse on the fact he is a foot taller.
He starts his apprenticeship next year hopefully, mechanic.

Pick up the Tritan today,,, hopefully.

hey hey people! picked up a clutch bearing for the husky61 from fleabay, seller swears its the right one but its far too big to fit in the drum and not sturdy enough to drift in, is it normal to freeze the bearing/heat the drum to fit these steel shrouded bearings? ive usually had the plastic needle holder type. any ideas chaps?

had a bloody good touch yesterday. got a mate here ive known a long time, he's over from thailand where he runs a volunteer program at a wildlife park. we were sinking a few brews and discussing how broke he is (reason for stopping in aus a while) and that he really needs a saw for maintaining the park and bringing in stuff for the animals to climb on etc. mid convo i get a call from a mate saying he's got a little ms170 he has no use for i can have gratis if i can get it going! RESULT! poured in fuel, four pulls, runs like a champ!!! DOUBLE RESULT!!! is now stripped completely and packed ready for his return. happy days!

long shot but worth an ask, anybody know where to look for a 12-17 hp vertical shaft motor? new, second hand, original, fake, not fussed! any online shops/sites or ebay sellers to recomend???
picked up a free mower with a stuffed motor, may be able to rebuild but covering bases to get ideas on prices and shipping etc as previous owner was pretty sure its stuffed. will get in to it soon hopefully....

evening Gentlemen,
got the tritan back today, new set of injectors, pc update, recall problem sorted.
Talked with the local stihl dealer who bought his tritan a few weeks later, he has 40k on his clock and has had the gearbox out(3rd gear loss), clutch replacement and a severe oil leak in the turbo. Now I'm wondering what is going to happen next.
