i still wonder why they bother with 220clicks on the dash these days you blink and plods all over yer cam radar NSA satellites

My FG Falcon ECO-Boost is speed limited to 180kph - my new Ranger will do that. I'm waiting for Andrew to send me a chip or sumfin...

IIRC that fergie might have the four wheel drive option

yea, she might just have a few extra bits, and a bit more power and a bit bigger tires and........... Oh first thing coming to mind is the fact they run out of red paint that day.

I would like a dollar for every load that 2670 inter took to and fro, she was purpose built to take that quad float and had the heavy ass end.

My Falcon is limited by traffic, red lights and speed cameras ;)

Actually you might find that your AU is speed limited too as Ford were too tight to run a 2 piece tailshaft in the autos so ran a long, whippy single piece unit which was prone to flying apart at high speed :)

It will be as deep as the post hole digger will go there's tow hooks in the slab so it can be relocated with the ute nice and easy

great idea Matty 2, you guys done a good job with that, it also looks like a dunny with a view as well.

edit...

The council tree crew dropped a gum tree next door, the guy doing the cutting was using a stihl 362, he was doing ok until he started on the bigger wood.
I was waiting to collect the wood but he was taking forever, I asked him to leave the bigger wood for me to cut, he packed up in a hurry and left.

I finished it off with my mac pm 850, I hadn't used it for 18 months it needed a run, I did notice in the council truck that there was a stihl 660...why he didn't use it? who knows

Na it's a **** video....I just like playing with my new camera :D try this
I finally found some decent software to re-encoding HD video with little quality loss.

Edit, I don't like this forum software.. I copy and paste a youtube link 'HERE"and it displays as embedded video :(

That was the alloy shaft replace it with the steel shaft out of an el/ef and Getz the limiter removed from the ecu and problem solved

Hey thats not bad Rick, that was the 2.4 from memory? I ended up going for a GU ute but still want to try a landy some day, those ex army ones popping up all over would be good fun.

It's the old school, last of the mechanically injected Landy diesels Rudi, all of 2.5 litres and 4 cylinders. (300Tdi)
The next model had the 5 cylinder, unit injected diesel.(TD5)

The army ones use the excellent Isuzu 4BD1 3.9 litre engine.
Slow as a wet week sans turbo, but are probably the toughest, most reliable smaller diesel ever made.
