good old trucks the dodges mate! plenty of old trucks for the picking around the place too if you keep your ears n eyes open , just on the farm alone where we got the D1610 there was another 2 IH firetrucks ,the guy had hectares full of cars and heavy gear on his 150acre patch of bush. theres actually many private out of the way farms with acres of wrecks/scrap and many are starting to cash-in in there retirement
Funny how alot of that would be worth more now then when new

Was up in Brisbane on Thursday, stopped in at Qld Gun Exchange on the way home. Had a quick look at the Tikka and Sako. I really like the Tikka except for the syn. stock. feels ok'ish but its hollow and I just dont like it. Shame, id be happy with a Tikka. So looks like ill have to do more hrs and save for a Sako.

I like that Dodge, could be a good candidate for a custom rod truck.

Thanks,

I was up in Brisbane to sort some custom leather work. Great young bloke and he gave me some tips on buying a Rifle (hunts himself and use to work in a firearm shop for a while) He said Clever good for price, but horrible for anything else. QGE very friendly, helpful and wont be too far of price. No matter where I go, I will be given some wrong information. Avoid buying second hand as the known rounds through barrell are unknown, often not asked and sometimes the thruth is modified….

As im a complete newb, it may be safer to buy new for me.

Military rifles can be that worn in the barrels the old SLR L1A1 needed the gas setting cranked right up to 10 on the gas setting to reload otherwise it's a single shot machine.

he's mighty prowd of his great wall ........... at least learn how to spell Proud

Thanks for the vids, funny stuff for sure. Im guessing he will have a sort life also. It would be quciker to block all but 1 or 2 holes and then run a hose from your 4x4 exhaust into one and gas the buggers.
