shelf queens are not my thing mate ,Im a farmer ... but yeah if thats what you want them for, best to have the real deal ..... better resale investment if there real, like your great wall you might of got it cheap and it gets you from a to b for now ? but the resales gotta be crap, ..i wouldn't think theres many in the market for 2nd hand great walls .lol... no offence
Was up in Brisbane on Thursday, stopped in at Qld Gun Exchange on the way home. Had a quick look at the Tikka and Sako. I really like the Tikka except for the syn. stock. feels ok'ish but its hollow and I just dont like it. Shame, id be happy with a Tikka. So looks like ill have to do more hrs and save for a Sako.
Don't get let down by the stock. Won't make a scrap of difference to the accuracy. Talk to any guys at any rifle range about Tikkas. I'm yet to hear anybody say that they don't shoot as accurate as any other rifle out of the box.
I dont think it will make a lick of difference to my ability either way …but I MUCH prefer timber over syn. Solid timber at that. Its just a personal preference thing. If the Tikka was available in timber stock, id probably be going through the permit process as we speak.
hahahahah, Ok you won that one and of coarse I knew that was coming. 1 mac and a bloody lot of orange terras. Obviously I did not have that problem solving board back then.
