Quiet, peaceful, post-card perfect Michigan winter day... BORING!

I dug through the chainsaw graveyard looking for a super 250 but found nothing. I did find a few large old McCulloc's mostly 1-41s,1-52s, and a few others that I could not readily identify due to too many missing parts. Oh well, I will keep looking.

Bringing it back from the dead.

Although I do not posess a S250 can I be an honorary member with some of the other firepower I have?

It's not for a lack of trying I haven't been able to join.

Chris

I inherited a Mac 250 in the very early 70's. It was somewhere around a 1968 model? It had the big straight front triangle bow. Probably had less than a tank run through it when I got it.

All I had a the time was a yard with younger trees. The saw was terrible for raising above your head to prune with. Was good for bucking and limbing trees laying on the ground.

I eventually sold it and got a Homelite 150 Auto hand stinger that I kept for 20 yrs.

I would like to have that Mac now. It was a beauty with not a scratch on it.

Your application has been forwarded for consideration.

If accepted I will diligently seek out a Super 250, when in my target I will capture said device and keep it in my posession.

Without a doubt in my mind, sir, I will intercept one of these machines and store it in my apparatus staging station.

The tribunal is chaired by His Excellency RandyMac, a pristine example of the breed, and an OGDF. All are tough to convince.

Can I port my black top 250 and call it a super?

No...

I'm on the wannabe list at the moment, i missed my entry to the Club yesterday.......the Saw went a bit too high $$$$wise for me at the moment(should of bid higher but was at work).....I'll get the next available one.........

His Excellency, eh? I usually call him Pharaoh Mouse Turd.

Alas, entrance into the fabled club is desired, but not a requirement. To be be accepted into the club would be a pleasure and an honor, certainly an achievement after much time and dedication to McCullochs.

If I must wait there will be no sorrow. I've still got my ugly yellow saws to keep me company.

Emperor Randy, please open the gates so I may pass ...

.. and it's a runner. Came with two bars/chains and the cover. Seller claimed to be 6' 3" and 240# .... said the saw was 'too much' for him ...

250? can't tell

I think I have one, I purchased a bunch of saw cases from a guy on craigs list and
he also had a couple of saws, this "big old yellow thing" with a huge bar looked interesting
so i asked him what the story was. He said it was frozen up and I can have it for $10.00
--after buying all the cases he said to take the saw too. --- turns out it's not frozen, has
a strong spark. I think i can get it running. --- How can i tell what model it is?, can't seem to find and tags.
