When i was doing line clearance there was a guy that sat in his pine tree for 3 days because he didn't want us cutting it down. He planted the tree but it was on the power company's property and when it started to grow into the wire we had to cut it down. It ended up going to court and he lost.

My fiance is one of the people that manages line clearances and gets to deal with the public all day. There are some real dumb @#%$* out there. All I can say if there are powerlines running over this property and they bought it and didn't check what kind of easement was there; and then they wanna be a pain in the but. lol I don't have the tolerance for dumb people... not that she does really but lets just say I wouldn't be as nice and considerate as she is. After notification the next thing they'd hear are a throaty exhaust and thud.

I like this North! I'll come in as representative for Roseburg/Scott and block for you guys. I'll take all the legal threats and handle the logistical nightmare of dealing with the law enforcement community; maybe even throw out some legal threats of my own. Spit some snoose in some hippies eye when he spits on me then walk away and go check on the ROW fell and buck see how far you guys are getting. Call in my A#1 road builder who'd have an army of 400 sized shovels, endumps, and a nice 7 or 8 for spread cat.... gotta get fast production to stay ahead of the hippie hoards. Miss P can come by for coffee & cookies and warm up by the fire and critique the faller gods. Maybe we can use her and the barbie saw to get yalls production up if it starts slackin.

On the serious side . Nate that is fed wood that is gonna get challenged and like patty says don't know the ground. I'd say 200 isn't too bad. Some DNR wood was sold for a little under 300/mbf. With as controversial I'd say 200 isn't bad. Shoot they may have been the only bidders on it and are kickin themselves in the butt over payin too much lol

I will play my fiddle. If the tree sitters do not have any earplugs or earbuds my expert fiddling will drive them insane. I shall start with my screeching rendition of Ashokan Farewell.
