The original engine on the XB was a modded 260, I think they call it a Bridgeport? This hull is a full composite and it is less than 1k in weight. I think 950lbs. With the modded 260 it was a 110+mph boat. The P/O sold the engine so we picked up the hull rigged for a Merc. I have played with Merc's before so we may go with that. But Hydro Tec has been great for us with the Yammies and a 300+hp 2.6l should be a blast on that boat. The last boat was a Blazer with a 300hp HPDI with Hydro Tec's stage 3 kit. That one ran 91+MPH but it was a heavy pig, loved the engine but was not a fan of the boat. Bullet builds a great boat also! CJ

Dang fellas, and all I want is for mine to start, run, and be dead nuts reliable. Replaced my blown up 150 xr6 with the 4 stroke for trolling. Had the carbs rebuilt and sync'ed and the motor serviced....it only had 40 hrs. Now it will run but is a bear to start. All the connections look good and checked out. Well, if it wasn't this it would be something else.

FedEx arrived! I smell fumes! I mixed my paint/hardener/thinner until I was satisfied, and played with the mix a little. Got it right the second time. Now I gotta do some scrubbin!
Finally finished my 660 I got from young back in fall of last year. Awesome saw when I got it, just wanted a few different parts on it. It took me a while to get it the way I wanted but that is just life. Thanks again young.

Stihl HS85 Hedge trimmer that leaks fuel as fast as you put it in, won't start (with fuel), won't run, won't just about anything. I think it's got promise though.
Husqvarna 385XP that won't start and run, hard to pull over as well. Supposedly it got something in the fuel tank that may have not been good for it.
Neither were mine, but both are now. I did manage to get them both for the same price. Zippo

Rescue kitty!!! Good on you sir! All the cats I have were rescues and they all were amazing! My newest Odin is always watching me working. When things get a bit too much he simply gets in the way.. makes me relax..
