I am rescuing a MS441 that was totally disassembled and in a bucket... Juttree is hooking me up with the parts I need, just need to find the time to slap the coil on and fire it up.

I'm tired of Brad........and Brad is sick of me.

No need to reverse engineer anything I've done.......I've probably posted a "how to" thread on nearly every popular saw. If you need a copy of my notes you welcome to those too.

You try dealing with that guy for a few years........and good luck to you.

I just think some compassion goes a long way. But that just me. PTSD mellowed me out quite a bit. lol

Got the old Homelite up and running for my Grandad Wednesday.

New crank bearings and seals going into an MS361, and I just buttoned up my 044. It got some machine work, port work, and new rings.

I don't have a bench any more :-(

Have a mobile truck workshop I'm trying to put together. Toolboxes are in, welder in the back, put a 10kva generator in it yesterday and managed to get holes cut for plumbing the exhaust out, fitted a bigger tank, vents, fans. Waiting on some gaskets and have to find a place externally to mount an exhaust off a VFR800 to run the exhaust into, then cut an access hatch into the roof for filling up the bigger tank.

That sounds pretty cool!

Dang fellas, and all I want is for mine to start, run, and be dead nuts reliable. Replaced my blown up 150 xr6 with the 4 stroke for trolling. Had the carbs rebuilt and sync'ed and the motor serviced....it only had 40 hrs. Now it will run but is a bear to start. All the connections look good and checked out. Well, if it wasn't this it would be something else.

PM me, I don't want to muck up Randys thread anymore than I already have. May have a fix for you.

MS 361 no spark turned out he had a bunch of dirt impacted on the coil I cleaned it and its fixed!
Dealer told him there was a hole in the piston so he bought a new MS 390 now he regrets this.

Hole in the piston? How the heck would the dealer say that unless he saw a hole, which obviously isn't there.

I hope he goes back to the dealer with this. He should get his money back on that 390 and give it back, if he wants it.

I kind of miss having a bench honestly. I miss the fridge next to the bench too. It's hard to fit a fridge into a work truck what with tools and all, and needing to drive your bench home doesn't help the situation either. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow if I remember to.
