Oh man I just saw it in the pic that Mercury Disston sitting there. That's my kind of saw. (Hint Hint)
Joe

Hey Joe,
While you're noticing other saws in the pics.........................there's one o' them Yaller ones too.
Oh my aching butt!
Chris, the Titan is Killer obviously, but can you get the Mac to run consistantly? If so, you are "TM"
Igpoe:cheers

Hi Dean,

That pic was taken at the current owners place, so none of those other saws are mine. I have a Mac 99 which i need to collect, and so may be able to share some of your frustration when I start tinkering with it.

I am looking forward to the day when I get hold of a DA 211 and give it a run. I have found a nice example of one, but need to concentrate on these Titans before getting into anything else!

How is your ER going Dean? Do you have it sorted out and running yet? Would be good to see some pics of that saw.

Regards,

Chris.

AH HA HA stupid me I thought you had scored the motherload there Chris. Didn't know they were someone elses.

Well I can tell ya one thing I like my Mercury DA-211, that Mac that LP got is going to drive us crazy. I always wondered why Dean wanted everybody else to own one and now I know. That hussy has made me say words that would make a sailor blush.

The Mercury is a dream to work on and it's got a real good sound to it when it's running. I just got a brand new chain for it for Deans GTG in VA. this Saturday looking forward to running it in some wood with a good chain. Saw Safe,
Joe

Mine fired the other day! But it was a false happy, cause that was it, then it started leaking fuel again! haha. Back to the corner it went

Chris,
The only difference in an ER and a Bluestreak is the later 'streaks had the auto clutch. The left handle bar grip rotates to engage the clutch. I monkeyed with mine to the point of frustration and put it aside again. I'm thinking now,(dangerous habit), that since putting the new rings in, the compression is low to where it won't start. I may have to oil it up to get it going. It'll fire and make 50 or so rotations and then just quit. I'll get it one day.
You NEED a DA 211. That's the cadillac. I currently have 4 'cuz I like'em right good.
Dean:cheers:

Ric, your not helping! Im trying to run away from CAD. And then Drew posted up those pics of the IEL twin a while back, and got me to looking. haha

Ive got to get the KB 6 fixed, and figure out how to make a Mac 7-55 run..

 for that classic truck! I think I may need to swipe me one of those WC iron crosses for my 65 c10 to k10 conversion and the 76 Bonanza :D I wanna be a poser

IGPOE, wished me about the same luck! Itll start, sputter, then thats it. Leaks all the fuel out again. Ive had it pulled down to the bare block probably 50 times, which doesnt take but a few minutes now. haha

was digging through my bucket account and found these shots of Marshall Trovers 1935 DOW saw.

It has an 45 cube 750cc Indian motorcycle engine.

Duane Zollo also has one of these he is trying to restore.
