Yes, the tests shows us a FD will be cleaner than a FC or a FB. It will also smoke less. But the test doesn't show that a FD will lubricate better than a FB.Seems FD should keep engine cleaner
Ya the whole jaso thing is geared toward emissions for EPAYes, the tests shows us a FD will be cleaner than a FC or a FB. It will also smoke less. But the test doesn't show that a FD will lubricate better than a FB.
First full synthetic non factory oil that i have seen with chainsaw manufacturers on the box .
I listed the picture with that whole series of oils . My question is why does motul choose to certify some oils and not their top rated oils?View attachment 448876
This one too.
Yes a FB rating shows it didn't meet more stringent detergency, smoke, and ash mass requirements.Does a FB rating mean that it doesn't pass FD testing, or that it just hasn't been?
Ya goes back to epa requirements the same as some fuels were restricted to race enviroments only."Racing" oils are exempt.
I bet compared to your Supertech oil 10w-30w would burn clean[emoji23]motul 800 off road burns very clean with no smell and doesn't smoke at all except when the saw is first started.
