I would ask for proof that nothing has been changed on the saw. Paypal is half way decent in disputes. Also emphasize it was sold AS-IS and was noted as such on the sale.

I did emphasize asis when i sent paypal a message, but i didn't see his claim about significantly different from description until after i sent in my side of the story. I need to find a way to talk to paypal again. Its kinda confusing to deal with this mess. I'll stress the fact that he has dismantled the saw.

If he's anywhere near Beaumont Texas I'll swing by and inspect his so called scratches

They do have a phone number you can call. Pm me the item number and I'll look and see if there is anything that can help you out.

I have had my share of jokers that try to scam.

Makes me mad too........

But if you guys post here first, am I obligated to be on your side???

If you gave me "rep" in the past, I am on your side?????

Should this "dilemma" even be here?????

NNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

MY POINT. Soorrrrryyyy. My poll numbers suck anyway, so here......

The guy sounds like a real douch & I'll bet he has had other fleabay accounts under different user names.
In order to get anything from you the saw would have to have been misrepresented, which it is not. "Item is sold as is" should cover anything else.
It is getting to the point where macro pic's of bore's and a discreet marking of all major saw parts is becoming mandatory. It's interesting how it has changed that just as many sellers get shafted as buyers....someone always figures out a new way to steal.

I noticed that after I reread the first part. I don't think he has a leg to stand on. Definitely stress he took the saw apart so there is no way to verify parts have not been changed. As soon as he disassembled the saw he basically accepted the saw as is. You stated you pulled the muffler and didn't see any scratches on the piston.

How can i get back in touch with paypal? He stated he took the saw apart in one of our first dispute messages, and those messages dissapeared when the claim changed from not received item to not as described item. If i can get to paypal in time i can tell them he took it apart and maybe they have those messages.

Who?

So the "other" guy has posted here?????????

So if he has not, he is still "guilty"???????

My whole point is, that this turn of "posts" will just destroy this forum, and
I stand behind that........

Anybody dealt with paypal on this type of stuff? What are my chances of winning? They have basically the same info ya'll got but a little more detail and exact copies of our dispute conversations.

I have had the same type thing mailed an item to the guy he said it was the address so I waited to get it back I did then mailed it to the correct address. In the mean time he filed a complaint I did not respond because I knew I had shipped it he then got his money and my item. Called and yelled at paypal and they said you should have responded to the complaint. Here is the real kicker about 4-5 months later I receive a package its the pump back with a letter that he was sorry and did not have the money to purchase the item from me currently. What the hell do people think I do not know. I would give my right arm to figure out how some people make it through life. Just stick to your guns you can CLEARLY see the dent in the handle by your pics. Just another lowlife you will get your money or if you do not he is probably not smart enough to run the thing and will probably injure himself any ways. Well I am ranting good luck!

And your intitled to your opinion just as everyone else is Fish. You don't have to keep up with what folks are telling me. I won't be upset.

Does this mean you are back?

I want to have no ill feelings, but the downward turn of airing internet
problems is "no good".

That is all, nothing else.

I'd be interested to know the name of the Husqvarna dealer that tested the compression at 95 PSI. We all know it wouldn't run with that much. Matt didn't sell a non-running saw. It may be 95 PSI on the cylinder that was on the saw, but not until the buyer fed it some straight gas.....

I have a feeling this guy is an ebay "pro" who prob was kicked off or had bad feedback, and started a new name, because he just joined the 9th of september, 2009, and im his only purchase.......

I've seen sellers require a fpositive eedback history as condition of bidding. Just a thought for next listing.
