Rick. Quit yackin' here and go pick up the 700G and the Zips. He sez $75 each OBO. Betcha could get the three from him for $150................or the 700G and a Zip for $120..............or the 700G by itself for $60. Hell.............a 700G with a good P/C is worth more than $75 anyways.

I do understand the beer fueled frustration at seeing local CL saws on this thread. Happened to me a couple of times with CL sellers that I was already 'in talks' with. Nothing came of the deals, but I don't think anybody here got 'em. The sellers were really squirrely, as is often the case with CL.

Most of the time, CL sellers won't ship or deal with far away folks anyways. Ebay's another story though. It does chap my butt when I see an ebay auction I'm watching and/or bidding in posted up here. I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the practice (or that it should be stopped).......................I just don't like seeing them (or local CL stuff) here for my own sake............:D

I've also had the same experience as Randy regarding the ''deal breakers''. Some folk's word isn't worth spit. I realize that cash talks and BS walks..................but if a guy sez that you have a deal with him, and that he'll hold the saw until such-n-such day/time..................then the ******* shouldn't sell it out from under you. If you don't come through with the cashola on the day/time deadline...........then all bets are off. Everybody's ethics are different I guess...

Hey Randy, if that PNW spike will fit an 1130G (gotta check my IPL's for compatibility) then I'm certainly interested in it. My 1130G needs it. I'll get back to you about the 'other' thing we was talking about...

Edit:

Just checked the IPL's. Different part numbers for the spikes on the gear drive and non gear drive saws in this series. Looks like your PNW spike won't work for my 1130G. If the 'other thing' works out, then I'd still be interested in having that PNW spike thrown in the box for my XP1020...

You boys need to come out west some time. We've got dozens of great micro/craft breweries nearby. I can take you to the Rusian River Brewing Co, Bear Republic Brewing Co, Marin Brewing Co, Anderson Valley Brewing Co, the Hopland Brewery, Sierra Nevada (that's a bit of a drive up in Chico), etc etc etc..... Most are within 10-60 minutes from my driveway and have fantastic brewpubs. I brew my own too. Haven't done that in a while, but plan to again soon...

I would love to go out there for a week and party ..BUT I will not go to San Fran with you so quit asking! HAHA

And how far from the Bourne Bridge?

Lee

I'm gonna try and WORK on seeing if a Western MA member might be interested in hosting a GTG, as I think we'd have more members that would be willing to go...

I'd do it here (Exit 10 on I-90 in Auburn), BUT I lack parking, and ONLY have 1.7 acres...and truly not enough wood

I know that some members had a GTG in CT last yr... I was unable to attend.

we shall see what happens!

Could swear I saw it posted here where these were like $299 at the dealers lately ....

JD CS56 Saw

The price tag beside it says $499, but they discontinued selling efco a while ago. Must be a display model according to the dust on it.

A red one with 16'' b/c is $500 at Baileys

Yikes!

My eye is not as trained as others on AS, but ..... holy crap! Yep, that case might be a bit 'off color' .... none of the ususal stickers from UL etc .... don't think Husky ever did the dogs like that ....

IMPOSTER!

P.S. Wasn't this seller pointed out in another thread around here?

As if this auction didn't already have enough red flags, read the description ..... :dizzy:

Stihl 025 saw

Heh heh, I don't know why that would make anyone nervous. No pic, zero feedback, the saw is used but still new....

It's a stihl though, someone will probably bid on it.:dizzy:
