Might not be the best buy but for $30 more it might be the better buy since you could check it out and run it before buying. Saving $30 on a Ebay saw isnt the safest bet.

Besides I might be able to walk away with the $450 saw for less anyway.................

I agree. I would much rather pay a few $$ extra to have the opportunity to test the saw out. Plus, you never know what he might do if you laid down 4 Ben Franklin's. If the seller still held out, you may lay down some Jackson's also, but in the end, you are still buying one of the best top handle saws available, that has been replaced by what many believe to be junk.
