Hey guys, I'm wanting a bigger saw than my 361. Look at these two and tell me what you think. I don't know a ton about the 066 setup. Is it REALLY better to have an 066 on a 064 case? Whats the longevity of that setup? Is it desirable?

how bout this? Seems like the guy set it up pretty good.

If I don't buy used, I'll probably aim for a 441 because of cost, but these would fit the budget nicely.

I think the 064/066 is a better deal as its all OEM JMHO

That 064/066 looks like a great deal, especially with the Mahle toped. That one's cherry. It won't last long!

Domino effect- people see one guy getting top dollar for his NOS junk and then they rush to post theirs.

A few years ago I mentioned in a blurb on one of my parts auctions that I'd gotten a NOS 262XP from dealer inventory.
A guy e-mails me and offers $750, so I sell it (listed an auction just for him.) Next week, there's half a dozen NOS or near-new 261s and 262s.

That 460 is priced way to high for my taste and the quality of those BB kits vary greatly depending on the brand. Matter of fact the quality can vary greatly within a particular brand.

One thing to consider...cash is king,Ive seen people ask some pretty high prices but when you peel off cash they cant resist and a lot of the time you can buy something for about half what it worth....patience is a virtue.....you mite buy that 064/066 for 450...never know
