i've been asking the boss to get me on the golf course

since the day i started at this place. c'mon man i'd say, get me out on one of these golf courses. you know i love to swing.... well nothing came of it this season.


all summer i asked. and now, finally he got me out there on a nice course....not what i had in mind but i'll take it.

on the odd occasion you have to go in and make some relief cuts on some picks to help get it into the feed roller but for the most part you get the hell out the way and let the machine work.

you should hear this thing when it takes a bite of wood. nasty. down right nasty. pine is silly. usually a chip harvest when we do pine. 200yds on a pine job tuesday.

but damn when it eats up a big piece of hardwood it'll vibrate your insides. lol.

edit: yup. 275hp JD engine(for the 18xxg). the 18xx and 18x we got both have 200hp JD's in the them. i forget what the vermeer 1800 has.

oh yah dude. look close to that butt cut pic. got 3 day old american made chippewa's on and not the chinese made chippewong's. quality my friend not crap gook made ***. i made the mistake last time i bought red wang's and not the american made red wings. the whole entire inside of the boot came out when i tried to take my boots off after work. this is the 4th pair of boots ive gotten since that incident though. the last 3 pair have been the la sportiva's twice and a pair of sweet lowa's. nothing stands up to what we do. its sucks to have to shell out boot money every 9 months or so.

let hoister explain that one out fully but it gives your lift power a little kick in the seat i think. we were pick'm some weight cause we were parked right underneath them. 2 pick'n 120 ft pines.....lol.
