Geez, Tim!

First the Homelite thread, now the Mac thread ... what are you posting in the Poulan thread?

Let me know if you need 'bits' for the SP80 .. since you have the 'cold weather' AF cover on it (sharp eye, Joey), you might as well try to pry a cold weather muffler cover from jockeydeuce ... I know he has one.

It's the box (side) that's rotten so it shouldn't be too hard to repair.
Nothing for the Poulan thread unfortunately. I'm living in a Poulan vacuum area these days so I've had to turn to other neat saws. Leaning more towards the larger saws.
What bar mount is on the SP80 and PM700?

Hey I spotted the cold weather cover in the kiiji ad pic you sent me.:D

Bar mount is old Oregon D276, current Oregon D176, or Windsor MXT.

Not only that. You spotted the cut off full wrap handlebar and the roller starter. You have eyes like a hawk. All that from a photo taken inside a dark 53' highway trailer.

Looks like a really nice job.

My SP 80 came with the "Body and Duct Assy" PN 84572 and "Cover - muffler" PN 84603.
Is there supposed to be another cover that goes over that?

.. and I'll be da**ed! The cover for the SP80 is different than the one for the SP60!

See how the cover over the muffler feeds warm air to the carb box? The one for the SP80 is different from this .... NEW project on the horizon ....

The bolt pattern on the SP60 muffler is vertical, the bolt pattern on the 82 cc mufflers like the SP80 is horizontal, yes it require a different duct assembly. The SP60 ducts were easy to find, the SP80 ducts, no so much...

Ted's SP60 with both hand guards, the rubber grip, and the cold weather kit is a rare bird indeed. Perhaps I did drool just a little.
