What size saw would it be? Worth restoring? Looks like all the parts are there.McCulloch Super 44 is my guess.
Chain looks like 404

Thanks Jeff, but I'm kinda bummed right now.
I got ripped off again.I went to get my 610 build out to put a new crank seal in it & it's nowhere to be found.I had it in a box in my shed which was locked up.Also missing is my Super 2-10 & 3-10 & my E.B.2.0.This really pisses me off! The 610 is missing the FW,it's sitting on my outdoor work table. The 2-10 & 3-10 are both missing carbs. The E.B.2.0 was complete & ran great.Whoever stole those saws must be good at picking a lock.
Earlier this yr.they stole my DE80 carcass,along with 2 Homie 410s & a 450 carcass.
Looks like a Super 44A ???Ok, what did I just get?
Haven't cleaned anything yet so can't see any numbers.
Went out to a guy's farm to help cut a log pile...came home with a pile of small saws, and this old Mac.
It turns over and seems to have stupid compression.

want another? will cost you freight and beer$I see a Super Ez. I like those little buggers!
Don't see an 'A' but definitely a 44With the grill it is either a Super 44 or more likely Super 44A.
There should be a model number stamped on the bottom of the crankcase.

Is the letter before the 44 an S?I have heard they put the grill (hockey mask) on some Super 44's as well but I've only encountered them on the A's.
The 44A is 80 cc (2.125x1.375) and the Super 44A is 87 cc (2.125x1.5).
Either way, they are a lot like running a flat head V8, lots of guts.

That sucks, when it rains it pours good or bad. If you need a saw you can have my 650. Runs great I'll never cut any wood again, my hands are shot. Thanks Jeff, but I'm kinda bummed right now.

Thanks for your offer Jeff, but I have plenty of saws that run just fine. Those saws that were stolen were my project saws for when my hand got better.I'm starting to work on saws again now, just the little guys that need light work done.I mostly have Homies to work on.I have a follow up appointment with my dr.tomorrow.I think he'll be quite surprised. That sucks, when it rains it pours good or bad. Umm,isn't that what I said?Perhaps your Dr meant you shouldn't be doing any woodcutting until then?
Show em how it's done hoss!!I was told by my dr.that I wouldn't be doing any wood cutting till about mid - late Nov.I proved him wrong yesterday. My son & I went out cutting & brought home a load of ash.I wasn't using a big heavy saw, just a little Stihl 017.Regardless,I was out cutting only 6 weeks after the surgery. We split the wood too & my son left for a previous engagement leaving the stacking to me.A couple of cord may not seem like a lot to you young bucks, but for an old crippled geezer like me it's a workout,Lol.It felt good to be "back in the saddle" again.
No - you said wouldn't.Umm,isn't that what I said?
