Learned something else today. So 42" was way out of the question. I guess my subconscience thinks a 36" bar is too short.

Yeah but my guy that was going to give me a deal on parts lost his job! Came to fing out that he "borrowed" the parts and then sold them cheap. So 600 bucks to get that running is not in the budget right now:msp_crying: and im really starting to like these older saws:msp_thumbup: and want one a big one

That sucks. I really wish I could help.

Maybe I can... if one of the guys gave/sold you a PM 800 or PM 850 without the front handle, I could send you one. It'd have to have some kind of grip put on though, as the old stuff was toast, and I had to wire wheel it all off so the broken part could be welded. We'll have to see what comes up. That is 'only' five cubes...

In the meantime, I really hope you run across a good deal for the parts you need for your massive 880.
