Eccentric

Thanks anyway.

You're right my McCullochs are all shelf queens except for a couple times a year I exercise them.
Especialy the bows. The only Mac that might get a workout is my 7-10. I thought I'd cut some wood, one day, with one of my 1-52s and after about 15 minutes I said the heck with this it's too heave.

ODW - That procedure used to work for me, but no longer. I'd blame our IT guys here but it happens wherever I am, in the office, at home, or from the hotel, etc.

The "Insert Image" pop up is blank or won't allow me to drop the copied file in like before.

Well, I'll keep trying and maybe something will happen...

Mark - Here's your pic ..

or

To put in youtube vids, under the video click share. To the right of the url it gives you is the embed button. Click that and cut and paste it to your message.

buzz - if you have a full size pattern for those, I can pass them along to the Engineering group here at work and they can nest them in some 1/8" SS parts we make.

Mark

Here is a .jpg of a tracing of three spikes. Just print so they all show up on 8.5" x 11" and it should come out to the right size - confirm with the measurements. The one labeled "mine" are the slightly shorter ones I made for the other SP125.

I didn't show the file because it was clear off the page.

Mark, it is not just your computer. What I have to do is go through all the steps and when the insert button disappears (it always does now) I stretch the window slowly until it reappears (it does about 80% of the time) then I click it. This is a real pain but it is the only way I can show pictures. Ron

7-10 Video

Mark, I keep trying the process over and over to see if I can figure out what is different between your setup and mine. Sorry I can't. I load the pics using manage attachments the same way you do. I preview it. Then I right click the link to the pic and in the drop down I Copy shortcut. I click on Insert image , then click on From URL, in the URL drop down I right click and paste the copy on the line. Next I uncheck the Retreive remote ...... and click OK. When I rehit Preview Post the image is there. I don't know whwat else to say. Sorry!

cpr, I'm using photobucket and I've tried the embed procedure you suggested and it won't work for me.

I'll keep trying.

Thanks ODW.

Mark I like ODW.

Mark I wanted to see if your link was different, in some way. So I right clicked on the picture link in your post on page 821 #12303 and left clicked on Copy link, then I clicked Insert image in my post and pasted in as before. As you can see it came out fine.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

You may be closer to a cure for Mark's ails than you realize.

All he'd need to do is upload his pix to the site (or to Photobucket/similar site) and then follow your lead ...

Good luck Mark!

Photobucket is really easy, download your pics on your computer under a file you can access easily then upload them to photobucket.

Titan 620

i finally got the titan 620 running. i haven't cut with it yet since it is late but i did run it in the shop. for those that didn't read it a couple pages back, the coil was bad and a replacement is nonexistent. so, i was able to modify a 10-10 electronic coil by changing the lamination piece. i had to slightly grind it to get it to fit. then i had to grind a little bit of the cooling fins on the cylinder, but only about 1/8th of an inch. anyway, here is a pic of the coils and the new hybrid titan/10-10 coil mounted.

That one saw of you know who's got the phony elasto start on it, Hmph. Can't be a real Mcculloch guy using Stihl parts:biggrin:.

im really pumped, it seemed to rev up nicely. i sure hope that it pulls good in the cut. a little redneck engineering may have worked this time!! it usually doesn't, but then again i usually use duct tape and JB weld.
