The saw I tested against ours still had the baffle...... flanges not ported matched.......even after we fixed that it was still way behind ours.

I did port match the baffled muffler ,i forgot to mention that ,your exhaust port barley fits between the baffle ,i had to grind some on the baffle sheet metal to thin it even ,not much but some

Here is my last attempt before putting the gutted one back on ,looked like would flow good ,it was quieter ,but not as strong ,the side opening on the gutted one is larger than this also

You guys are splitting peas here. Both of these saws are fantastic. It really comes down to personal preference. There's no benefit in pitting builders against each other. That wasn't the point of this thread or my previous comments.

I agree totally......we are both capable of building great running saws.

You have the Hybrid down to an art Brad.

agreed! im still trying to.load the right stihl tech sheet!! lol
