Your up early!

Every day at 4am and I don't like it much. Hopefully in 4 years I can join the likes of you old retired farts.

Nice saw. I really need decals for mine if they should happen to be reproduced I would really like a set.

Well if meatsaw can take the photo's we can get the ball rolling. They could be altered for the 395 decals I could use.

Nice saw, you notice that saw not only has the 4000 style covers and filter setup, it also has the 4000 style muffler which is a bit more free flowing then the 3700 that saw is based on.

Nice decal also, and I know of a guy who might be reproducing them and needs a good up close picture of that one. You could maybe help us out with that? Is the recoil decal as good?

Sure I'd love to help. The recoil side decal is also in good shape. Just tell me what I need to do and I'll do it! Here is a pic of the recoil side.

I got it to fire by putting some mix in the carb but its not sucking any fuel. So hopefully that carb kit and fuel filter show up by the end of the week. Thanks mark for that great write-up on the fuel line replacement. It really helped!

That sure is a nice one. I will send a PM on the picture instructions!

As for the write-up, to be honest, it took a little time for someone like me to do that, but it was worth it to help folks out and not have to try to explain it every week.

Dayton 21?

Have a question about the Dayton 21". I know that this saw is a rebadged poulan 245a.
So what would be the biggest bar you can run GOOD with it?

Thank you guys!

I could sure use a clutch side decal for my PP375.

And you guys who can't wait for retirement - it ain't all its cracked up to be. Every beer is the same now. I can remember that first afterwork beer tasting so good.....

Well I will have to disagree with you. Just a quick list of my hobbys
1. chainsaws
2. Guitars. Played in a band upto 2 months ago.
3. Guns
4. American pocket watch restoration and repair.
5. Faceting Gemstones. I have a faceting machine.
6. Welding
7. Old cars I have 3 right now.

I plan on getting even more busy when I retire. Little time for beer.

I was running a 28" poulan sprocket nose bar on my 245A and it pulled it with ease in sugar pine, though it was a bit nose heavy, started with a 20 and it wanted a lot more.

Well my soon-to-be-famous PP375 (just sent pics to Mark) finally started up and ran tonight. The carb needed a healthy dose of B12 and I borrowed the carb gaskets and a fuel filter from a stash of miscellaneous parts that I always forget about. Surprisingly it fired up on the first pull. 2 pulls later it got me in trouble with the wife for running chainsaws after 12am. Oops. But I couldn't resist. :help:

Tomorrow it will get a thorough cleaning (it deserves it) and I might just have to get it dirty again...

Do they make one???

Anybody have a source for a 16" 3/8 x .050 bar in the 041 mount??

I can find Lo-pro and .325, but no regular 3/8.

I'll be needing one fur my little craftsman/3000 soon...
