That is an option for sure :msp_w00t:

By asking what husky parts they share, i was thinking of shipping weight / costs. The lighter tha package, the merrier and i can get some suitable parts, if they are on any husky IPL.

But man those are sick looking saws. Here, we have 80% Huskies, and maybe 15% Stihls, and the rest Jonsereds, doing job in the woods, and the people who double my towns population at summers, the big town rich folk, they bring the cheap-o-market weirdo-brand saws here...some end up in chainsaw shops to make head ache as well:eek:uttahere2:

I.will look to see what I have laying around, not sure I got enough to a non strato 2375 which I would prefer.

I'm like Mark on this and like the older WT 2375 42cc with the throttle lock on top of handle. Heck I got a little used runner just setting here for the taking :msp_wink: 50 beers. Shipping I bet would cost more then the whole saw.

last weeks haul

I got these from a buddy of mine who works part time at an old school small engine place. The rest of his time he spends 'picking' and has a 4 bay garage filled with tools, signs, furniture and all sorts of other cool stuff. I could easily burn a week in there and still not see everything. He told me had had 2 Poulans, 1 Craftsman and 1 echo and they all had good compression. He didnt give me any details. When I got out of my truck and saw the gray and yellow 395 I was surprised. Its dirty but its in even better shape than my other one! That saw just needs a quick cleaning and some fuel parts. The S25DA is complete with the case and manuals (soaked in 35 years of bar oil). I wasnt interested in the Craftsman but he made me take it. It has that "sim-pull start", I just thought it had low compression, but the p/c are nice and shiny. That sim-pull start works evidently. I think that saw only needs fuel to run.
Should be FAST with that 16" bar

Never saw one of these before

Never turn these down

Nice finds, the decals on the 395 are decent, wonder if Joe Salva could duplicate a set from them?

Real nice looking PP 395 Joe! Mass. must have been a hot spot for them. I have never even seen one in person, and you have TWO of them. Pretty nice looking "Super 250" ya found also. :D:ices_rofl:

Gregg,

Thanks Gregg and Mark. There were several poulan dealers around here and 2 poulan pro distributors I know of. The saws i NEVER see are the large frame poulans, 4200, 4900 ect. I have a lead on a real nice 3750. I dont have one of those yet and thats one Id really like. I gotta bug that guy again!

Yup, thats one I would look into if I was you. I really like my PP Super380, same saw as the 3750. just different color. ;) The big Poulans are scarce here too.

Nice looking 395 with good decals which I never see. It also has the chain brake intact which seems to get thrown away by those who have had these saws. I have a couple of these saws which could use the decals. Nice saw Joe.

My father in law has one of those. I need to put new fuel lines in it for him. I'll probably loan him the 2750 I just put fuel lines and a carb kit in since he's got some trees he needs to cut up.

Shipping cost, are what make me think of husky combatible parts. uring next week, i am rivin to post office to find out how much can shipping a complete bar-less saw cost.

I'd like a 3750 too. Just haven't been able to locate one.

I shipped a 300th anv husky 66 to Finland in 2010 and stihl 084 stuff to Japan. Bet the rates have went up since then. :eek2:

Shoot me a PM with mailing info and I can get you a estimate on this end.

Craftsman Poulan 2000 2.0 good?

Anyone know if a Craftsman Poulan 2000 2.0 is any good? I want to get a top handle for in the trees, but not sure if this is good. I read that Poulan is actually Husqvarna, but probably not in this case as it is marked Craftsman.
Thanks.

Don't know about the 2000, but a perfect top handle saw would be the Poulan S25DA or S25CVa. Very powerful saws.

Poulan 2000 is poulan made. I bought 1 new in 1994. Trouble free except for coil replacement once. They even have a 38cc version 2300 and a 30cc version 1800.
2000 33cc and not has powerful as the 38cc S25DA etc. Good saws and cheap to keep up.

Any interest in this 295 I picked up yesterday? Story I got was that it was straight gassed, but I have not checked it out. I will be at the Indiana GTG on Saturday and could bring it along if anyone wants it.
