Well its like this, some dillrod from Cincy went whining about the stickys and how much work it was to scroll past them on his phone. Seems there might have been some begging to the mods and presto no more Poulan or other brand stickies on the first page but several others were alright to leave stuck. :help:

So now instead of just chosing the last page of the Poulan thread on my phone or PC , I have to search and load 3 different pages to get there now. Its a real pain on the cell phone now and I wont even bother with it anymore.

Anyway glad to see you Al, whats new. The 4900 up and going yet?

Can't say I see any mention of a name here.

The problem is 100% that a couple of you are mad as old wet hens and can't even see straight now.

And so you thought you'd come in and tip over the hen house?

Think first...then post.

But prior to that, go away.

I'm trying to find another saw I don't need.

Well, I've been having fun and spending way too much time reading AS in the last few weeks since I joined. Been a blast and I learned a lot, but I've been thinking I needed to knock it off and spend my time on things that are actually important. Thanks for giving me the excuse.

It's a Internet forum guys, this childish nonsense happens on most of them eventually. Get a grip.

Speaking of Poulans does anyone have a flawless 4000 with a working chain brake they wanna give me for free. I kinda want one....
Keep looking.

Let's try again...

As someone who is completely ignorant about the brand, what should I be keeping an eye out for in the 5 cube and up range?

Common is better than "awesome" because I'm cheap, I'm broke, and want to be able to find parts.

The heavier, the better...I want it to fit in with my Mac 380, Homelite 600D, Stihl 076, and Mall 2MG.

I can do the cherry 4000 thing, but I didn't even know they ever had chain brakes!

So this is your thread now? What an ego! Last I checked, you didn't even start it. You think you can crap on me and nothing will be said back? You think you can lie about what happened and just go on your merry way? You thought wrong Mark. You're so mad you can't even see the truth. You earned a lot of respect around here, especially with the Poulan community. I've benefitted myself. Bottom line though, I can do without every piece of knowledge you have, before I'll just swallow the slander you've spewed out here the last couple of days. It's simply uncalled for and unwarranted. You see Mark, there's more to AS than just the Poulan thread. Perhaps you should get out more often. And don't take that wrong all you Poulan lovers, I have a few myself:)

Nope not my thread, your the one that said that. Whoever started it makes no difference, its the one I enjoy the most though.

So you think you can just call me a liar? Well I guess you can, but that dont make it so just because you say so. There's lots of folks around here that dont believe a whole lot of what you say anyway.

And yes oh master, there is lots here besides the Poulan thread, and I do frequent other parts as well. You going to follow me around and take a dump in those threads also? I told you I was done posting in your other fiasco and I did what I said didn't I?

I got to learn how to put folks on ignore I guess.

Calling people names, and throwing a temper tantrum over a stupid internet forum was uncalled for. All Brad did is ask to have the forum cleaned up, so what, is that worth calling him the names you have been? Are you having a bad week?

Listen Andy, I dont need you playing father for me. You need to let Brad fend for himself sometimes. I know thats tough when its a good friend and all but you really need to.

As for my week? Thanks for asking, but its been very good so far. Got paid today and had 15 hrs overtime on the check, done the ole lady 3 out of 6 days as well. Also got all the hard to find parts for the big Partners and Melvyn called and said those Poulan parts we ordered 3 weeks ago all came in!
