Nice job on the Mall 6, It looks great.:msp_thumbup:

Thanks to Mr. Bow Saw, et.al. who enjoyed the Mall. Thanks to Ted for getting the pics up for me. Just can't get the hang of posting those things...I've followed all the instructions to the T; to no avail. Guess you can't teach an old operating system new tricks. I'll have another piece up to view soon.:msp_wink:

I have one of these bars too.

Great stuff Cliff. That's interesting that there's different 'uni-mount' part numbers for Mcculloch (and a buncha others) verses Homelite (and another bunch of saws). I've used the uni-mount Duo-tronic bar you sent me with the Homelite 1130G on my McCulloch 650 gear drive. I need to pull the 25" RN off of my Wards/Mono WD60 to see if it has the uni-mount tail. If it does, then that bar will spend some time on my large frame Homelites!

Tinkered with my McCulloch 650 a bit last weekend. Sharpened the chain on that 30" Duo-Tronic bar. Remembered to write down the numbers from it. Just now checked them against the info Cliff posted earlier. 33343 is stamped on the bar, along with 3063B0646. The first number matches the 30" Hardnose bar intended for Barker/Bolens/Bradley/Burns/Cobra/Eclipse/Homelite/Indian/Lombard/Mono/Solo/Wright/Lancaster/Mitchel/Lumberjack/Titan/Trams/Whitehead saws. Fits and oils fine (with McCulloch bar 'adapter' plates intended for slimline bars) on my McCulloch 650, despite a different number (33344) being listed for a 30" Hardnose intended for McCulloch (and others, including Remington). My interpretation of the second # on my bar is 30" cut length, .063G.................and I don't know what to make of B0646.:D

That's the Fairbanks-Morse starter. I thought they came later.

The starter on my 75A's would do an 18 horse riding mower proud. The Wards/Rem. 660 has the F-M.

True, it's a F/M starter cup, but the Wico flywheel has the same part number as my later Bantam models with the swept vanes. Could have been a prototype ...don't know, but there was no evidence of the flywheel ever having been removed, so I'm certain this was original issue.
Thanks for posting the pics. Could you do the same for the Super 75 that I reposted? Thanks a heap.:smile2:

Super 75A.

Humongus starter on him.

Yup. The 75A shares many of the later Bantams whereas the 75 shares the earlier Bantams features. Thanks for reposting the shots. That 75A would look nice restored. Heck, it looks nice anyway. They sure sound sweet and cut great.

The plan is to pull him apart and replace rings and seals. Kind of scary when I look in the fuel tank and see them *&^%$ phillips screws!

Why I have been avoiding that project. I hate phillips head screws.

He pumps 110 but runs ok. I'd rather see 140+. His near twin pumps only 90. I haven't checked the blue Wards/Rem. 660(ish).
