nothing but penrite since ive owned it, but learnt that the previous owner had a thing for sealing everything with silicone 3 rd pic is the **** i picked out of the pickup with a screwdriver. blocked pickup, stuffed mains and big ends, buggered rings, rear main seal was ash and looked like there was so much blowby that it was basically running on oil. carbon build up was so bad it took a big hammer and drift to get the old pistons out of the bores

Ha ha. Been there done that. To the same ls motor for the same bloke 3 times before he sold it telling everyone how unreliable the new chevs were. Each time he refused to let me put it together and looked at me stupid when I suggested he go a bit easier on the ultra blue! [emoji2]

well dont plan on it happening again, only a very small amount of three bond grey on the corners of the valley seals and on the oil pressure relief valve cap thread. the last parts got dropped off tonight so hopefully get it fired tomorrow and then get to watch it sit until i can get it in for a dyno tune

dear wife santa fe diesel 2007 & 200 faultless clicks till 2 months back i hear a tac tac tac was oil pump about to let go after sucking up oil pan sludge goo chunks even thou we change often and keep well serviced after a while it builds up like plaque then flakes off goes into important bits like a blood clot does to stoke victims,,, all fixed but $700 to open it up.

just been to my old .22 small bore club to tune in a scope its been 2- 3 years since but same faces they still knew my name silly embarrassed me had forgotten many my little Ruger 77/22 can still put them in tight for an unluved sporter bang stick

dear chaps at work are still filing 3/8 chain with 325 files my hand & palm hurts from hard filing it back to correct it took about 20 minutes with much mutter of curse words

At this stage a select range of dealers are selling the fuel as a pilot run. Sales have been fantastic so far they said.
Also due to popular demand the thin bar oil is gone and the old stuff is back. Still have a few 20 litre drums of the thin stuff to move out the door.

...all they have done is changed the packaging. The new oil actually works really well and flows a lot better, just a different approach and looks to paying off. I have had clients sceptical at first and have come back to say they're chains don't stretch as quickly and generally cleaner chains and bars

It is working well for me in dry timber benne, but in wet stuff it doesn't seem to work too well at all and clogging my bar.....chain actually was running a bit dry today in the dry stuff, till I threw my second chain off this bar....now I have 2 chains that I need to fix......the ring sprockets stuff em up when they throw, something the spur sprockets never did I have found. Seems to smash the drive link and make them a bit wider so they run too tight in the bar groove and maybe twist em slightly also....I need to check that.... not being one to throw out chains bit off mucking around getting em right.

I've nearly finished the 20l I got off you and I will happily buy it again.
All the important stuff I'm happy about, just find it weird that it smells like old diff/gearbox oil.
