RO (racing Ozito ) had the bar oil groove repositioned. Maybe in hindsight I shoulda filled the old groove. It's good for nothing.
Just a tip for the new punters... Don't grind the groove too deep; you'll strike fuel. [emoji6]

With a bit of luck the groove will cover both Ozito and Stihl bars. Test tomorrow.
Chippy, without a bar it pumps heaps of oil. Try yours without a bar to confirm.

fueling up ma saw i must done it 1000 times.... huh wow i got 2 stoke fuel all over the hot muffler bubbling gee never done that before cuzzz ,,,,, wait moment pls brain engaged i was actual dumping 2 stroke in the wrong oil hole,,, sigh am gitting old n dumber fast

Anyone says they haven't done that is BS'ing, the big problem is you admitted it....lol

Ditto rob !

That's pretty interesting Rudi, I thought it was to big for a wood grub. What state ?

I was convinced it was an auger hole.

was thinking bout this i started working trees 17 yold now 53 lets say i work 220 days a year subtracting weekends leave wot not and lets say i fuel a saw once a day sure some days it 10 times somedays nil but once a day average hmm 35 x 220 ,,,,,,, 7700 pit stops... I know I stuffed a handful of oil into fuel but can never ever recall fuel into oil till yesterdaay ,, still yet to put a chain on backwards, came close but never fired it up

Yep. Tested the oiler and drowned the garage floor in bar oil...pumping well.

Nice work on the new oil channel Vince. With work like that you could probably start up a side business modifying these saws.....you could call it MasterMended or something like that.

I was just going to drill a new hole in the bar. I think you'll find it'll just run down the inside of the bar now rather than the outside of the bar....but that's a huge performance gain in my mind.

I always fill the fuel tank 1st just habit so yeah have done the oil in the fuel tank thing a few times...
Only done it the one time but yeah beats me how I missed it but I did was at work, well started the saw up and went to buck a log and it no worky! yes I tried to cut with it!yup chain was on backwards haha.

I am yet to run a chain backwards, but have fitted it that way once or twice....haven't mixed the fuel for the oil yet but I did once put bar oil in my fuel to make my 2T mix..only realised it when I went to put the 2 stroke oil into the saws bar oil tank and thought somethings not looking or feeling quite right here...

Once put unleaded in the cruiser, but under 2 litres so no problem in a 145ltr tank.

Yeah the old ULP will melt you piston rings, still goes alright for the first tank or so. Luckily some newer cars smell the petrol when it gets in the fuel line and cut out.
