What angle 30 or 35? Up swept at 10' or not?

25 degrees ,as level as the horizon depending on beer intake

Just roll start it ,no really just wrap a starter rope around the flywheel when you want to start it, shave a few kilos off without the starter housing . Sorted !

Why did Stihl aus ditch the 441cm.

I read on AS that the 461 price has been dropped to match the 441cm price in the states due to a shortage over there, is there a relation to the 2 events??

Theres so many Fairbanks Morse out there but do they all fit, thats the hard part
The pic i put up is the exact one i need , so far i found the Wards wd95 AH81, mono AH81
Ive got the cone so just the starter now which has to fit and engage properly

Yes similar but mine has 4 bolt holes to bolt to engine cover

I have an early Pioneer FM starter housing that has the four bolts like your Ward.
The very early Stihl Contra saws also had starter/ recoil housing with four bolt mounting.

I think Stihl is trying to cull the 3 70cc saws they have and have only one. The 462cm. Coming soon to a store near you. ( next year)
