Jonno & Johnno sell parts dirt cheap for those motors. Or is it Johnno & Jonno?
Last parts I tried to get for my Robin generator were a needle and seat and I got quoted $90 [emoji15] I ended up buying a chinga carby for $20 off another model and robbed the parts from that. I'll give the jonno's a go. Cheers.

The briggs and Stratton engines I found they were good for parts earlier this year.

Not sure what their like with other makes or if they even sell them.

Ah OK, I thought you meant they were good for the Jap ones. Most lawnmower shops have briggs parts cheap and they're easy to come by. I've also got a 5hp on a fire pump and 3 1/2hp on my push mower. Good engines!

Yeah, two local mower shops here both had parts but they were a bit over double the price of Jonno on most of the stuff.

Actually cut valves & seats, & relapped.
The videos do sound crappy!
Fired 2nd pull, tuned, but will set top no load speed tomorrow, ran outta time today:)

Just taking the piss mate they all sound like that. I love those old tin top Briggs still got a heap of reamers and **** for those packed away here. I got a mower here with a 910? Series ohv donk on it not much impressed with it really has the extra lobe on the cam as a decomp I recon it makes it harder to start and definitely sounds like **** when pulling it over or when its stoping clicks and rattles like a mofo

Good show Jason, i cannot view the vid as I am out of megs this month again at work.
That old greenfield is still in reasonable nick for the old straight bonnet 28inch cut job, I bought it many years ago 2nd hand. Went through it one time and replaced some bearings and both V belts, I now need to re cork the clutch plates and with this rebuilt engine it will be back to a great little ride on.
I have another greenfield in part, it has no engine but the clutch looks good and looks to be same size, should just do a swap and re cork the clutch sometime.

managed to do a little saw shed time myself yesterday, 3120 bottom end rebuild, nice to see that crank spin without making noises again, may even get the top end done tonight.

I thought that business sold after market stuff and Chinese copies ect. I am interested in a couple of their 6hp reduction box / clutch engines, for my dockers, can run a little bigger even size 2 belt pulleys instead of a small one engine end that slips under load.

Yep....they sell lots of that.....bUT the quality is fine as far as I can tell..I couldn't tell the difference so not sure if the parts were OEM or not but everything fitted perfectly and she runs as good as new.
