Flying Spaghetti Monster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In short it's a big joke.,...

I reckon this is a flying spaghetti monster. This is a model made out of those awesome lego bricks.

thanks fellas ,now I really feel educated:msp_wink:

That’s cheaper than on the Timberline web site except for the burr, Timberline don't ship to Australia at the checkout, they may do if you contact them. Not sure if that’s because they have a deal with Peerless Australia, they are over $200AU from them so not really worth it IMO. Plenty of info on them on AS.

Looks like a complicated old show would rip with a die grinder hanging off it instead of a crank handle

complicated would be the older style file jig set up ,I reakon one of them would be quick and easy, dunno about the die grinder but a cordless drill on the other hand would work a treat

The weather is a bit rubbish today so I decided to knock up a pizza oven. Worked pretty good for the first attempt, got it up over 650F. Now for some improvements.

Don't ring too early as I accidentally locked both my personal phone and work phone in an almond grower's shed in Renmark after spraying his orchard today for 13 hours. He's not back from Adelaide until lunchtime tomorrow :(
If you can't get me just leave a voice message and I'll get back to you ASAP.

haha, no worries on that score mate, had a bloody big weekend so will be moving pretty slow tomorrow, thankfully im home all day! had an old buddy from the homeland come by with stories of caring for all manner of crazy animals at a Thai safari park he works at so the blood % has been high to critical since friday arvo!

only awake now to educate my ignorance on the difference between rim and spur sprockets! my sparce wallet seems very interested in the rim ones so far!!!

also the spacer/mod question. the 750evl wont be messed with too much so maybe a spacer would be adequate? flip me some prices on spacers and suitable bars to mod if ya get time. if the 61 wears an 18, could i get a 22" ? i wont have the need for much more as the milling saws are available for anything bigger. infact, if i could afford it id do a 22" and an 18" for the 750 if thats cheaper than the 19"ers.

thanks again fella. nice one.

If you haven't worked it out yet a spur sprocket is where the entire clutch drum and teeth are one part. With a rim sprocket you can simply remove the rim and replace it as it is removable from the clutch drum.
As far as spacers for an Echo you'd have to make them or get them made yourself. Pretty easy to do but not sure if anybody sells spacers to suit Echo saws. Spacers do come for Echos with Sugihara bars but then you'd have to buy a whole Sugihara from the US :) Very spendy...

For sure mate. I mean if we all go back to the Russians vs. the Chechens most people forgot that the Chechen rebels were predominantly muslim extremists. At the time people thought the Russians were using too much force. In hindsight they didn't use enough. Then we look at the Tamil Tigers bolting from Sri Lanka in droves after the Sri Lankan government kicked their arse and 32 countries named them as a terrorist organisation. Then you have a swag of afghanis and if you talk to any ex military guys from over there you'll find that nobody knows what bloody side they're on. One minute they're planting a field and the next minute they're shooting at you. Then you have a heap of africans coming over and most people have absolutely no idea whether the individuals in question were chopping kid's heads off or whether they were on the receiving end. Once again when you speak to guys that have been over there with the UN they'll tell you that both sides are as bad as each other. A lot of these pro refugee groups need to start taking a hard look at where some of these guys have come from and then have a rethink about how they'll fit into Australian society. Sad part is that Australian society is turning into the same sh*thole that these guys came from.

Have a look at what Yugoslavia is still serving up locally..... The bits I've heard from one of colleagues who is from Bosnia. And I'm sure the bits I've heard are the better parts. No wonder she reckons her 40's - spent in Aus, ate the best decade.

Stuff like having books stacked up in the unit windows to block shrapnel, the house the family was living in being blown up and her husband seeing it from elsewhere etc.

She once said after living without power or water for years, she had done enough "camping" for a lifetime......

dunno, when I looked around most of the new style fire boxes didn't have a top grill for heating or cooking on,only the trusty old potbelly style,i ended up getting a real good secondhand norseman from brisvegas that was on ebay,oh yeah the newer ones I looked at were gonna run into the thousands,i got quoted $3500 aprox,no way,all up the norseman ,petrol for a 6hr round trip,3 new fire bricks, door glass seal, decktight and one length of stainless flue ,dropbox and trim came in at just under $1500 ,did the install myself :)
