I've added another Mite-E-Lite generator and have some literature on the way. I have McCulloch/Mite-E-Lite documents from around 1971 through 1985, and I believe I saw that Mite-E-Lite was in business in the 1950's? If anyone has some insight into when McCulloch purchased Mite-E-Lite I would appreciate knowing more.

I watched this afternoon the repeat from a few days ago of that Rural Heritage show on RFD-TV which featured your museum & fellow chainsaw collector Dave Wildgrube from southern Minnesota. 
Great stuff.I'm about 2.5 hrs to the SW of your museum.One of these days I'll have to take a short trip & say hello again,check it out sometime.

LOL that guy looks familiar......dropped about 10 pounds,a bit more gray hair,a few more saws & I retired the next summer.Otherwise pretty much the same.

lol I think you got my post confused with someone else's.I had no trouble watching the program,since RFD-TV is on my current cable TV package.But I wouldnt mind having a DVD of the program to buy if they are available through the Rural Heritage website or elsewhere.
Someone sent that to me, via an instant message, about a day before, so I did not know how old it was, or where it originated.
Mark said he had not seen it, and I thought others might like to view it, so I posted in in this thread.
It opened up for me in Facebook, so I was not sure if people not on Facebook could view that link.

Added a few to the display recently.
Mall (Remington) GP Plug wire is broken off at the coil so this is a non-runner but looks O.K. setting up on a high shelf.
My son Jeff found a photo of the muffler set up on line...
...so I did the best I could with the materials I had on hand.
I cleaned up with Pioneer Holiday II (1072) yesterday.
Pioneer did some unconventional things, primer instead of a choke, Bendix type starter mechanism that also operates the compression release, automatic bar/chain tensioner.

I cleaned up this early model Wright reciprocating saws this week. The rod to drive the blade comes directly off the top of the piston with seals in the head.
Not mine, but illustrates the principle.

I'd really like to find an air filter cover for this one to complete the ensemble. From looking at Mike Acres site I'd say it may be a B316 or GS-2016 ? ?
