My wife was hiding behind me. She started it.
The bar came wirh the saw and is a US version. The saw is upside down and keeps rolling over when you're back is turned if you don't watch it carefully.

XL-870 update ..
Here it is, all cleaned and ready to go. Had to wait for parts and experienced repeated 'issues' while working on it.

look what has found its way on my bench finally, a gaggle of XL923's, the 925's do not have a decomp button so they will have to wait, now I just need to decide which one gets put together, all three are in great shape.

More than likely a super 2, many different variants as it was built for decades, a complete pic of the entire saw will tell the story.

Any idea how many cc's they are?
is the 240/5 a Solo ?
These two chainsaws (the 240 and 245) look very much like Solo saws. I think they were available during the same time frame as other Solo based saws were offered by Homelite like the 300 etc

That's good to hear sinceI never got to use em! I merely saved them from going six feet under. It just so happened that I was in the market for a top handle.

Anyone know the correct fuel line sizes, for the 550 and 750, off the top of their heads?
