Here it is, all cleaned and ready to go. Had to wait for parts and experienced repeated 'issues' while working on it.

Need a little help from the Homelite pros...

I'm looking for general info, parts availability and repair information on an old top handle I acquired.

look what has found its way on my bench finally, a gaggle of XL923's, the 925's do not have a decomp button so they will have to wait, now I just need to decide which one gets put together, all three are in great shape.

More than likely a super 2, many different variants as it was built for decades, a complete pic of the entire saw will tell the story.

Darn right you should fix them up. The 2000 and 2300 are both excellent saws

That's good to hear sinceI never got to use em! I merely saved them from going six feet under. It just so happened that I was in the market for a top handle.
